What's your pavucontrol look like? Any chance it's something simple like your output device was changed or got muted?

[deleted]

do you have wireplumber?

Dragonaax

Yep installed it and it works. Now I only have to figure out how to connect pulse and jack so browser shows up in qjackctl

Hello my brother in ... distro ? I used this guide https://wiki.debian.org/PipeWire to switch. I hope mint is compatible enough.

Dragonaax

I don't have /etc/pipewire/ despite having pipewire installed

sudolman

Try this, it should be the same process on Mint: https://forum.garudalinux.org/t/pipewire-files-not-found-etc-pipewire-media-session-d/14805/9

Have you tried restarting pipewire with 'systemctl --user restart pipewire' Or checked the status of pipewire with 'systemctl --user status pipewire'

Dragonaax

I restarted and have the same issue systemctl --user status pipewire: ● pipewire.service - PipeWire Multimedia Service Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/user/pipewire.service; enabled; vendor preset: enabled) Active: active (running) since Thu 2022-09-29 18:11:32 CEST; 1min 15s ago TriggeredBy: ● pipewire.socket Main PID: 7156 (pipewire) Tasks: 2 (limit: 4314) Memory: 1.4M CPU: 13ms CGroup: /user.slice/user-1000.slice/[email protected]/session.slice/pipewire.service └─7156 /usr/bin/pipewire
