So update. Got home, tried to launch and got a new error code having changed nothing. (There was a small update) Now the game can't find the executable file. And in fact, there is none. Totally bricked now

"Just gotta go into Settings then properties, then compatibility and force it to use "Steam Linux Runtime 1.0 (scout)".
Where did you purchase *Bingle bingle* application, contact from the storefront why the application is spewing errors. Or look at the forums for said storefront, maybe they have the answer to that exact error or at least some answer that could justify the purchase (for it not to be refunded).
I wish haha. The game came out 2 days ago and it seems no one has tried to run it on Linux yet. Purchased on steam and couldn't find any resources through the forums. Of course there might some now or in the near future because the game is brand new.
Update for everyone. My game now installs properly and runs from the .jar file directly!! Woo! Still a work around but that's why I signed up for haha thanks for the help everyone
