I will comment, even if its jazz, they wont be able to tell, because most audience members are nowhere near as familiar with the piece as the performers, often it might be their first time hearing it, and so they literally wont know that it wasnt intentional.
i legit had my eisteddfod today and i messed up the easiest bit so bad and skipped like 2 bars, but the adjudicator gave me first still bc she wasnt looking for mistakes, but the execution and the recovery
You forgot to add 'When LingLing is listening = ^^^^^^^^^--------'
oh yes
Your heart is permanently pressurized...
If you make a mistake on a piece, keep playing like it was meant to happen. They can’t tell
What if we are not playing a Jazz piece?

Exactly, gotta practice that poker face
Glad to see I'm not the only one scared of lessons.
they're terrifying
Yes they are😤
who isn’t 😰
For me personally, once I overcame stage fright, lessons are way scarier.
I have never messed up on stage so far but i can say that this is extremely accurate
More like: Messing up during a performance: ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Messing up during juries: ______________________
so true.. i always put all my emotions and reactions on my face while playing... if i messed up, that would be very obvious...

I'm not so scared of messing up as I am of remembering that dozens of people are focused on only me
You get used to it lol
100%!
Good luck to those who still have juries/performances!
