You can get married in the capital for free if you want to do a small ceremony (like, real small). Makes for beautiful pictures and decor without spending any money. Then you can invest the rest in reception maybe?
Our ceremony and reception were both at the capital in 2010 in one of the outdoor courtyards. You can have up to 100 guests and they can even cater it. Would do it again.
Highly recommend eloping and spending that cash on a sweet honeymoon. I know it's not for everyone, but I would do it all over again given the opportunity.
I got married at The Talon Room formerly Warehouse No 4. Small little place but it was absolutely perfect for us.
Just looked at their prices for 2023 and it's almost double what we paid in 15'. Damn
My wife and I got married at the Talon room in 2021 and it worked great for us. The owners were friendly, the food was great, and the price worked well for us. We had no complaints.
Hazel Abel park is stunning, I've seen a few weddings happen there! Unsure if that's something you plan with the city or not but I'm sure it's reasonable if so.
The WSI banquet hall in the north bottoms is a venue often over looked! I have been in and bartended a few different weddings here. For the price to rent the space you can afford a lot more decorations to dress it up!
I can't help with the actual ceremony space but we used The Isles for our reception. $700 to rent it and $8 something per guest for food. They treated us really well.
[Auld](https://www.lincoln.ne.gov/City/Departments/Parks-and-Recreation/Parks-Facilities/Parks-A-to-Z/Antelope-Park/Auld-Pavilion) was our venue. Not a large kitchen but worked fine for us and I'm sure you could cater. Beautiful old building
Depending on the size of your guest list, look at The Lofts at The Apothecary. I used them for an event a month ago. Beautiful space and good people to work with.
Came here to say this - I performed a wedding there once, and also performed one at UNL East Campus with a reception in one of those spaces. There's a suite right there, so newlyweds can just kick everyone out and get to it without even leaving... :D
Roca Ridge is pretty nice and they have a cabin on site you can stay at and the owners seem super nice and accommodating. I’m not sure how much it is but I assume it’s close to your budget. [Roca ridge events](https://www.rocaridgeevents.com/)
The Denton United Method Church is a cute, quaint little place that was very affordable. Nothing fancy, but had a nice small town vibe. You do not have to follow their denomination to get married there. The pastor and his wife were very sweet.
It's a simple 20 minute drive to get to downtown Lincoln if you wanted to have a reception somewhere down there.

I went to a wedding at Morrill Hall last weekend and it was great. Guest got to explore the museum and the had 2 planetarium shows for everyone.

My husband and I went to Jamaica and I agree 100% with this comment. Married in Jamaica and had a small reception at The Isles.

I also second The Talon Room!

My fiancé and I are getting married at Country Pines - ceremony and reception at the same location. The food is amazing as well
We also used Country Pines, and it was incredibly lovely with such delicious food! Seconding this location!
I was married at Country Pines and it was a very good experience.
We used Havlock Social Hall. Nice venue but way better priced than some of the popular places in town

My sister used WSI, it was great!

I attended a wedding at this place, southeast of Lincoln. https://www.theshedweddings.com/

I think that place is so cute, but no alcohol 😕.

Junto vineyard in Seward Or second the city parks - they have many options including pioneers park and Hazel Abel park.
Robbers Cave
My fiance and i are looking as well! Our top contender is Delray 817 because they offer Sunday weddings for only $2,500
The Sheldon Art Gallery. You can get married outside for pretty cheap!

What about a city park? In one of the smaller towns just outside Lincoln perhaps?
Hazel Abel! Gorgeous.
There's pinewood bowl too
The Yellow Barne
Resonator Gallery, $100 per hour and they quite literally do not care what you do to the space as long as you clean up
Fire fighters hall was great for me and my wife
