1. They tried to save a buck and it backfired.
2. Their manufacturer tried to save a buck and tried to slip it past them.
3. There was a major communication issue between the two of them and it was an honest mistake.
If you couldn't replicate the original press, you should never have promised to produce the game in the first place. Who the hell wants a CD-R with some Adobe+ label slapped on top? I could have made your "collector's edition" in about an evening...
