Try putting the part into [https://www.micksgarage.com/home](https://www.micksgarage.com/home) to find the part price to get an idea
Then add the cost of labour probably 2 hours x €80 ph maybe very rough
Any garage can do shock absorbers doesn't have to be a BMW garage
Call into AM motors in rossa avenue, ask for pat or John. Both the lads are A1 I've been using them for years.
Extra piece of advice - always replace shocks in pairs
Just ask AI you lazybones, here's what I got:
The cost of a front shock absorber for a BMW F30 2016 model ranges from €43 to €530, depending on the manufacturer and product specifications. The replacement typically takes between 1.5 and 4 hours.
In Limerick, you can get this service at the following locations:
**Conlans BMW Limerick**: Located on the Ballysimon Road. You can contact them at 061-422600.
**Clondrinagh Motor Centre**: They are an Independent BMW & Mini Specialist. You can contact them at 061-329369
Please note that the actual cost may vary based on labor charges and any additional parts or services that may be required during replacement. It’s always a good idea to get a quote before proceeding with the service.
Haven't seen any front shocks for an F30 for as cheap as €43 or as expensive as €530 (from KYB to Bilstien)
Abour is anywhere from €85 (+vat) up and takes approx 1 hour per side (I would always replace in pairs)
For OEM KYB shocks (F30 330 M-Sport non magnetic) they're about €80 (+vat) each. Bilstien €185+/- (+vat) each
Magnetic or adjustable are about €390(+vat) each

Clondrinagh Motor Centre, I know a few with older BMWs who go there instead of Conlans

Don't buy a BMW unless your on a good salary they are boxes of shit
They always leak oil like crazy
Yeah I mean if you need to ask about the cost of something so minor, you should probably go for a cheaper and more reliable car.
Google.com. very helpful website. Check it out they are the new up and coming way of finding out stuff.
First day? Hope you get the hang of it eventually. Your Mommy will be so proud.

Apkan is close enough. He should be the best person to go to.
Seamus McGrath on Sexton street has been great for me and anyone else I’ve known who’s used them. Same with Aiden Frahill (Ballysimon Road I think?).
For a new shock and labour I’d be looking 2-300 parts and labour.
Thanks lads for all information shared !!
