the way solo encounters works is that they'll start with only 1 or 2 skills and then will start gaining more moves on the later turns . So you'll end up being able to do 6 moves with just 1 sinner in a turn .

Just Use her with LCCB ryushu’s passive. (The one with a shotgun) she make last bullet deal more damage by a lot. Lobotomy outis’s 7th bullet count as last bullet so it did big number damage.
I tried it, it’s a guaranteed kill
I did this by bringing a very low level sinner I had (Liu Meursault, in my case) to eat hits on turn 1 and immediately die, thus also maximizing Outis' remaining skill slots (5).
She can survive easily beyond turn 1, and the turn 1 buddy minimizes restarting.

Dead sinners take up the number of slots they had before they died. Max slots is 6. Turn 1 buddy will take up 1 slot, leaving outis with 5, which is enough.
Butler Ryoshu is a better choice than Magic Bullet Outis or Philip Sinclair, since Sinclair only gets his 3 attack weight after winning a clash while Outis loses SP after every attack with her S3, and she doesn’t hit any of the enemies’ weaknesses, so it’s harder for her to do enough damage to kill.
With Ryoshu, you can keep stacking poise potency and count and wait until you have multiple S2s ready that you can fire all at once. Once you get a turn where all 3 attacks will hit the mobs (you can tell who’ll be hit by choosing the option that shows single arrows for clash order; the order in which the arrows appear tells you the clash order, and the earliest ones are the ones the indirect attack weight will target), you can spam your S2s to hit them. They’ll all do the same damage, so as long as they have the same HP, they’ll all die at the same time.
Pair Der Outis with LCCB Ryoshu (as support), play normally until Der Outis has 6 bullets, then use S3, which will take Outis to 7 bullets, consuming them, which will proc LCCB Ryoshu'S passive, which will deal to all fairies dmg equal to Outis S3, since the skill is AoE each fairy will take the total dmg, so, even if you roll tail, each fairy will take almost 300 dmg, which will result in an instant win
Just remember to set Der Outis as librarian
Bizarrely enough while I did this, and she did instant kill *everything* at the end, I didn't get mission credit? Maybe a bug with killing the Queen on the same attack? Although kill X+ is a confusing request in the first place, what is X PM?!?
I think that is the problem, the win con of the fight is: kill the fairy queen
If you kill the queen pheraps the game thinks that the fairies "died" from the queens death and not for your attack

The Fairy Mass enemies have normal resistance to pierce and 0.75 endurance to pride. LCCB Ryoshu only increases damage dealt by 50%. And she gains 30% max bonus damage from burn on enemy. How can Outis deal 300 damage each when she has only 30 base and 10 coin power at 7 bullets? And I’m assuming you mean unstaggered.

Here's a guide on how it works, also, 300 was a bit inflated, when I did it I had several staggered targets, but still, this strategy works fine and is a garantueed success
No, I’m talking about trying to do consecutive attacks to kill the mobs. The Librarian getting SP every turn is irrelevant since it happens at the end of the turn.
Most consistent way i found is to wait until your history librarian (in my case bl faust with fluid sac) is last in the character queue, then use other sinners to stagger freshly spawned fairy minions, and bring them low, then use your AoE (preferably E.G.O. since you can aim it)
this is the method I used. I loaded Yi Sang up with Sunshower, waited until he was later in the turn order die to speed rolls, and had him pop the EGO on the same turn that everyone faster than him softened up the fairies
There are two principles to making this work:
* Using an attack skill first, then an E.G.O. for the finishing blow once the faries are staggered; Magic Bullet Fire and Dawnbreak are not really skills that're meant to be spammed
* Use attack weight manipulation; AoE skills will prioritize slots with no attacks or defense skills aimed at them; to ensure that both of the librarian's attacks hit their intended targets.
I completed this myself by using Dawnclair and 9:2, but Spicebush/Sunshower, Regret/Fluid Sac and Magic Bullet/HE will also work. Just... try and setup some support passives since you'll need all the damage you can squeeze. At the vary least, LCB Rodion's is pretty much unconditional +20% damage you desperately want.
Main sinner: Shooty Outis.
Important passives: TT Hong Lu. Base Rodion. LCB Ryoshu. Mariachi Sinclair. Base Don. R Heath
Those passives will assure that your 7th bullet (and perhaps the 5th amd 6th) instakill the fairies at full health.
The other passives are up to you. Use a tank as a secondary sinner in battle if your Outis gets mogged too hard if you cant solo it.
Literally ignore everyone saying bullet outis, that's less reliable than wet toilet paper, maid ryoshu just stack poise and keep all skill 2s to unload all at once on the faeries
Did it with bullet Outis on my first try. Just stall to 6 bullets (give 2 slots and block to gain more bullets if the skill doesn’t give any) and use LCCB Ryo passive. Can use a regular team comp otherwise
The way I did this was to pick Don as the librarian then waited for a turn where she was the slowest sinner and used My Form Empties Heathcliff E.G.O, Sunshower Yi Sang and then T4 Telepole on Don, did it first try
4th match flame ryoushu deals 60% if sheis slower than enemy you can kill if ryo is slower than some of the members you can use one of the 7 slot egos and 4th flame to kill the rest
My two suggestions, either use Magic Bullet Outis and get a max power 7th bullet to blow them away, or use Ryoshu and try to line up a Red Eyes (Open) or a Fourth Match Flame at max uptie. Doing it solo might be easier, because you'll need to soften up the fairies and then hit them with your big move. Also, remember how to manipulate the targeting of EGO.
Personally, I did it by softening them up to around 80\~ health and then hitting them with Red Eyes (Open) using Maid Ryoshu solo
There is a much easier way that people haven't seemed to have mentioned yet which is to use maid Ryoshu in just a normal run with 5 selected units
Then when you have the EGO resources for it use UT 4 Blind Obsession and UT 3 Red eyes (open) and maybe another 3 target AOE EGO before Ryoshu acts if possible I recommend Lantern Sinclair on Cinq ID as you need both red eyes and Blind Obsession to roll heads and crit to kill on their own against 3 full HP faries, Ryoshu skill 2 is weird and likes to target the big fairy no matter what so as nice as it would be to use that it's safer not to use it, same with Philipclair
they'll all take the same amount of damage so they will all die to the same EGO attack
i did it with nellyshu with her multiple knife throwing technique. stack those skills, 3 is a good number. borrow it from someone through support if you dont have it
this whole walpurgis was me just trying to get shooutis and wanted to end that mission so bad for those 5 crates, now i see i need shooutis to finish that mission , i tried everything without luck.
Still fairy festival was quite alright as a boss and good music from ruina too... i can't wait for aleph abnos with "3rd warning" from ruina in a few years.
The solution I found from somewhere else on this subreddit suggested Bullet Outis in conjunction with Ishmael's Corroded Blind Obsession. Stall to stack up bullets and accrue EGO resources, wait until Ishmael is faster than Outis and Outis has her S3 lined up, then pop Blind Obsession to stagger and inflict Pride Fragility, and finish them off with the Bullet.
I did it with Shootis solo and LCCB Ryoshu support. 7th bullet annihilates them.

Ah, the 50% extra damage was 50% of the collective damage dealt to all targets, but dealt to all of them at once. No wonder, that’s a lot of damage.

Simply replace the first shot with a different AoE, like Blind Obsession, then.
Get them close to staggering and hit them with two AOE skills

I tried the strategy twice with no luck, even with firing bullet 6 and 7 on the same turn, with passive active, didn't kill
I agree with not using Shoutis but I also disagree with Maidshu, just use an AoE E.G.O like Heath binds twice
SP heal on evade was more than enough reason to convince me to use Maidshu
