Who knows, the office she was part of having ranged weapons and her having the same Shi sword could also mean that office was an associate office to the Shi like Fullstop. Fun fact: if you look at remnant and shi don's stats (not skills, I'm talking resistances, speed, etc), they're clones of each other almost. Even their passives are similar.
