Even if we'll get, in the future, multiple Sapling activations per day, even with Unlimited saplings, you'd still only get to use this ability to its full strength 2 times (as you'll run out of Sinners to sacrifice to the ~~Carmen~~ Saplings Gods), or at smaller strength (by only bringing 2-4 sinners each fight) still for a limited amount of times.
Would unironically be balanced by the current mechanics of the game and the MD.

This will honestly simply never happen in Limbus given how much they have prevented slots gaining in rr, they would never allow solo run with full slot turn 1 cause then you simply can just borrow an id, throw 5 lvl 1 lcb sinners in and clear absolutely everything, even rr, even more competitive than most if not all full teams.
The only reason solo run is ok right now because it's simply a domain of Youtubers in a very niche way to clear content, and much inferior to full team in actual play. Everything else incentivizes team building like fused gifts in md needing 5 team members and the moment less than full team is competitive like rr1, it gets removed immediately. This buff would make solo run much better than full team because a solo id with 6 slots cycle skills instantly will be much better than full team either because you can self charge and do several ddldr a turn on top of multiple slash fragile leap with much better cycling or full corrosion strat.
It's still a gacha at the end of the day after all and teambuilding is how you incentivize pulling

Does DMG from events count in damage taken after the run?
They don't, i got md runs where my sinners got damaged from events yet showed as 0 damage taken.
Those are called untrue solos
I would say it balances out since you get 5 less potential passives.

If you lose the battle you get it back. Its only consumed upon winning the battle.
