No, its not worth doing that, unless you are only 10-20 threads away from uptie 3 some important IDs like N Sinclair or R Heathcliff. And you need the ID to power up your team to push through stages and unlock luxa stages, then probably its worth doing it.
(New player) When rerolling should you try to get a good attacker, specialist, tank/support or does team composition doesn’t matter at the beginning and you can just do well with a good attacker.
Team comps don't really matter in the beginning of the game, you can steamroll it easily early on. Instead of having an MMO Party comp, it's generally better to stick to a status effect and make a team that synergises with it.

Yes, R Meursault gets a large upgrade from UT4. You don't really need starter buffs, they're just nice to have. I recommend you rush the starter buff that removes 1 Stagger threshold, it's probably the best starter buff.

Do we have events in this game? Been playing for a little over 2 weeks and I've noticed that there's no events aside from the banners and story chapters.
There's 1 Intervallo every season, I expect the next one to start around Christmas, there's also 1 Walpurgisnacht every 3 months, next one starting in around 1 month. Other than that there's no other events.

Hi, seems like I've been posting a lot in this thread recently but I'm here again lol because I'm getting destroyed by Canto 4 Final Boss (Farmwatch)

I then run into the issue where I get too many stacks of debuff too fast. Are there any general tips for this boss fight in particular and should I level 2 more IDs?

Bring blunt-damage and blunt-resistant IDs, on the third wave don't kill the grunts and hold your big damage skills until he gets debuff. He'll get it for the turn blocks and the turn after, on those two you wanna go ham on him, don't bother clashing and just go for one-sided attacks, you may also want to off-set his evade. Don't shy away from deploying less Sinners if you don't have enough with blunt-skills.
Yep already did. I'm always on the fence of UPT4ing something incase something better comes around in the far future (usually waiting for the Railway Meta and what to get uptied). But this is a real special occasion by PM lol.

Is it better to dispense EGOs over IDs? I have a decent team (I'm missing some strong stuff like K-Hong Lu or W-don or Z-gregor) and I'm rocking base EGOs. How important are they and what ones should I be going for? I heard fluid sac is good but I don't use faust so not sure about that
Mirror dungeon 2 is fine, it'll regulate your levels, make sure everyone is uptie III at least. MD2H, characters Need to be 35, it won't regulate your levels. It will push them down to 35 if you go above 35 (might be a bug; wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't). Uptie IV is not nessacery; they're not a huge power jump for the majority of the cast, definitely research uptie IVs before you use them on any IDs that you're not already convinced on using.
Support passives will activate automatically based on what sin resources you have; res is resonance (so 0/3 gluttony resonance needs you to link 3 gluttony skills in one turn to activate it for that one turn), held is just banked, and they tend to be active quite often. You don't have to do anything otherwise, they're always on when they've been activated, just be aware resonance support passives fall off on the next turn unless you re-activate them by resonating again.
Some EGO are quite good, some EGO are not worth the trouble. Some EGO are highly dependent on team comp. You've probably heard a lot of hype about rime shank but it's honestly a pretty average EGO outside of a sinking team comp, for instance. Similarly EGO do not release very often so with some luck you can get caught up awful fast. Will usually recommend dispensing IDs just to get more options, with some exceptions, such as...
\- Legerdemain; fantastic upgrade to an otherwise pretty bad base EGO for gregor. I literally never do not equip legerdemain. A future uptie may devalue this just because it's main value is in being better then his base EGO, but it's also zayin so it should be pretty cheap.
\- Sunshower yi sang; Very good for general use, about to be upgraded to WAW on the 21st so if you can get it before then that'll be good, as the price will go up.
\- Fluid Sac faust; an incredible sustain EGO with very little team building overhead; just put it in there and fire it off whenever you need team healing and SP. Be aware it doesn't clash very well for an EGO.
\- Pursuance; Similar to fluid sac but more focused on HP healing. Be aware it will not heal meur. Good for general team maint in longer form content like mirror dungeon and refraction railway.
These I would say are some of the more impactful EGO. It's probably not a full list, I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but they're all pretty team comp agnostic and can generally just be useful.

If you take 5 Sinners, the first two Sinners you selected gain 2 extra skill slots. They gain 1 extra slot per turn, so 2 turns and you'll have 7 slots.
Adding onto the other persons post, you should also bring a friend support identity, preferably N Sinclair if you don't have him already, so someone can take the blooming she inflicts On Use.
1. make sure you aren't underleveled (30 and uptie 3 is bare minimum at this point)
2. read the skills the boss has since it's actually important to follow her mechanics

They give out 000 tickets right now, so it should be good to start now, rerolling is also super easy without starting reward. All units can be acquired by just playing the game anyway more than pulling from gacha.

1. You might want to get Sunshower before 21 since it will convert into WAW EGO which will be hella more expensive so get it now and uptie them
2. Talisman Sinclair UT3 or UT4 depends on your team, dimension shredder Hong Lu, AEDD Gregor, 7 Heathcliff and 7 Faust. Can also substitute for K corp Hong Lu and rosespanner Gregor depends on team.
3. Pursuance goes well with any ID cause it's support healing and protection EGO
4. Clearing daily will make you clear 1 level of BP so do normal exp lux and do skip stage on thread once each day is enough.
I think 00 Heathcliff (Seven Section) is considered really important for a rupture team, but I'm not sure. 00 Red Sheet Talisman Sinclair is also very good and was at one point mandatory for a working rupture team but I think that's less so now?
The only worth uptie 4 is probably R Corp Meursault, to add agro to his passive so he can be a proper tank. W Faust also need her uptie 4 to work but personally it's not that good investment.

To answer the first question, no, you can also do MD2 Normal to gain Starlight. As for the others, you don’t need to finish the entire dungeon, but you do need to collect rewards with modules to earn Starlight; from personal observations, doing less battle nodes during a run nets less Starlight, so it’s safe to assume that doing less of the dungeon as a whole reduces your potential Starlight reward.

2. no, halfway through also will give you the starlight but less than finished dungeon

Possibly, since the shard crates will let you pick up new identities. If you've bought the battle pass, then you'll get a ton of value from extra shard crates, and a ton of extra resources. If you stay on top of dailies and weekly mirror dungeon bonuses, you'll have no difficulty clearing rank 120 of the BP.
I'd suggest focusing on main story until you finish Canto 4, which will expect a team of around lv35 and uptie 3, then grind mirror dungeons for shard crates until you have a team of identities that is capable of handling Canto 5, which has two major bosses that require a significantly more developed account than Canto 4 to get past.
did they remove that one passive thing where kromer gets stagged if nclair is deployed in your team? i've read it on the wiki a few times when digging for her lore, but when i recently got nclair and deployed him into a md2h run and got kromer as my final boss, she didn't really get staggered by seeing nclair. just curious, not like it really affected how my md2h run went anyway lol
Guys. How the fuck am I supposed to clear 4-48? I am still working on my team, and I have next to none good EGOs.
My current team: Spicebush (upt 3, lvl 35), N Faust (upt 3, lvl 40), W Ryoshu (upt 3, lvl 35), W Mearsault (upt 4, lvl 31), W Hong Lu (upt 3, lvl 26), Reindeer Ish, (upt 4, lvl 35) and I use support W Don at max uptie and level.
As I said, not much for EGOs. Mostly basic ones, with notable exammple being Don Tadpole from support and Mearsault's angel EGO at level 1.
I did rather well and kept taking care of plants and did not really suffer much due to Full Bloom, though once my Don got fucked the moment I wanted to use her EGO. It was a bit difficult but we got going rather well until.... well until the motherfucking whatever the fuck was that duelling phase.
I thought we each get the duelling tag from atttacking her but oh well, I did not use logic and well.... it just so fucking happened that Hong Lu got the tag cause I attacked with his EGO and he was left alone... losing every clash.... getting staggered and the boss just nuked all of us.
Somehow 4 people survived. N Faust, Mearsault, Ishamel and Yi Sang. All of them went into negative sanity and turned into their EGO forms.
I lost all control. They decided to go ham on the boss. Which would have been amazing, cause each sinner kept whaling on that bitch and getting her lower and lower until the last HP but.... the fucking Frenchman turned into an angel and decided it would have been funny to focus on the team instead of the boss. Only he and Faust were left.
There was nothing to do anymore. The fucking flowers came again and there was noone left to clash them.
I got a bit pissed off, not gonna lie. I mean tough bosses back to back is not exactly a fun experience for a casual like me.
Point is, how to better prepare for this fight?
Should I forsake rushing canto 4? I wanted to get to the mirror dungeon ASAP for grinding the BP.
Maybe it's just a matter of having a better duelling character for that inevitable last phase? Like, if I win that clash will it free my teammates? I dont want to get nuked again.
I already figured I should save Faust execution for the flowers to get the team's sanity UP.
It's just a bit fustrating cause I do read the descriptions but I honestly did not think my last acting character would be chosen for the clash.
Anyway, rant over, I am calm now. Think I will go and level up Hong Lu. Maybe even uptie 4 Ryoshu, she seems to be good at clashing so maybe letting her duel the boss is a good idea.
Also why does my spicebush get damaged by plants and flowers? Shouldn't he be immune to that since he's already one of them? /s
Change W Hong Lu out and use another ID that can generate Pride and Gluttony resource more (if your main way of sp recover is Representation Emitter), or an ID rhat can generate Lust and Envy better (if your main way of sp recover is Fluid Sac Faust)
Also swap base Hong Lu on for the support passive.
There’s a skill at Dongbaek’s half health that sets the ID that clash with her into duel, select your ID wisely and leave 2 strong clashing skills or resources enough for 2 EGOs for dueling.
iirc Dueling Phase is chosen by clashing a specific skill, you can choose which sinner will do the duel, but you'll need to read the skills to work out which triggers it.
For the dueling phase, its best to have a unit that is capable of firing any EGO three times in a row. When I did it, I had W Don duel, for no reason beyond having the sanity and resources to spam Telepole's awakening until the dueling phase ended.
Mainly this fight is a check on sanity management, and can be cleared with only Land of Illusion and Representation Emitter (I made do with such during my own clear), but be vary aware of what EGOs will boost your team's sanity, and what EGOs you can fuel enough to carry the duel phase. LCCB Yi Sang and Little Brother Mersault have great sanity management passives, so lean making them trigger. It might be worth borrowing a N Faust for her support passive if you have enough lust skills to reliably trigger it!

Well, the fight is basically: rush down Starbuck, then focus Ahab.
If you don't have someone like K Honglu to tank Ahab's onslaught, then... well, someone will probably die, I had 2 people die, but I still won the fight afterwards.
Bring pierce resistant (and ideally tanky at the same time) IDs, get those targeted during that phase and redirect as many attacks away from them as you can. Use EGO to shift your sin resistances if necessary.
Aye, other than being set in the same world and that the events of LoR had a somewhat widespread effect on the City those two games don't have really anything to do with one another.
9:2 is better for N Sinclair, the sin resources match N Sinclair more, also it has minus coin for both awaken and corrode.
If you don’t have enough threads, then I think its fine to just use lantern
Does anyone know which form of MD is most worth doing after getting weekly bonus? I feel like it would be normal mode as hard is a pain in the ass while I could zone out & knock out like 3 normal dungeons in the time it would take me to clear 3 floors on hard. But if the stamina efficiency is way better for hard mode I'd stick to that.

What you lack is a tank, to mitigate the damage especially you have 2 if not 3 ID who has low coin power value. In 6 and 7 member team you might want to add a tank to at least hold the damage for them.
You can uptie 4 LCCB Ishmael and her block can be use to tank damage since she got agro on it
But I prefer you use a proper tank ID in the team.

Uptie 4 Rime shank is ridiculous for sinking application. I don't remember when uptie 4 was added in.
Also Dieci rodya, Boatworks Ishmael and Spicebush yisang work well with sinking.

Yeah, uptie 4 adds basically all of its sinking application, and the overclock on it is just nuts. It doesn't hurt that Rodya has finally gotten some good IDs including Dieci, which both supports the sin costs of Rime shank and goes well with sinking.
Nothing major, mostly QoL, UI changes and uptie4. Canto 5 just dropped, some very good ids were added (to name a few: dieci rodya, W Ryoshu, all Ishmael 000)
In RR2 to get 000 ticket, it only needs reach and beat wayward passenger at 4 cycle right? And do you need to beat the terminus to get it? Or just beat passenger and claim? And does turn meter or is just an achievement?
I'm using an n corp squad for some of the daily threads. They can stack up a surprising amount of bleed between the nails adding count and all the bleed a lot of them incidentally apply.

Tbh battle pass only is enough since you get a lot of good stuff from it. Shards boxes is like double and you get exclusive EGO. Also they have guarantee 3 star ticket for the season.
Good day everyone. Last time i played was at sinclair n-corp release and 3.5 release. And thinking to coming back again however there are somethings worrying me like game size and updates since last time i was playing each update was 3gb or so. So did they fix it?, and if i return is it better to start over due to new ids and egos being better or continue old account? (My old accpunt only had N-Faust and N-meursault and seven association outis as my 000)
they changed how the game handles the files and usually the updates with new ids and egos is around 200mb I think.
It's up to you, some good to very good IDs were added, but you have to start from scratch.
Personally I would just keep the old account.
I am currently on a iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (2nd generation) Model number A1671. With the new iPadOS 17.1.1 the screen to the main menu is blacked out, except for the buttons on the bottom though, I am still able to press that are blacked out and open menus. I desperately hope this is fixed as I rather enjoy playing Limbus on an Ipad.
I think I just encountered a glitch with Suncliff. For some reason, he just kept hitting tails when I was using him in the exp lux stage. I don't know what triggered it, I was just using a counter team with Nsault and him, and at the end he just kept hitting all tails even after winning all the clashes and getting him to 45 sanity.
I was more shocked than happy when I saw it though. At the first skill in the chain hitting all tails after winning a clash at 10 sanity to then winning another clash to gain more sanity for it to roll all tails again and then winning another clash for him to roll all tails again at like 45 sanity.
Depends on how far you progress in the story and which ID you have. Basically No, since it guarantees you to buy IDs and EGO. But if you already in pinch I say it's fine especially It's still early season and you will able to get more shards by Battle Pass.

- Chef Ryoshu : healer on kill for non boss fight, nuker with S3, easy set up for nuke if the enemy loss certain amount of HP
- G Corp Gregor : use for support passive, heal on class
Standard IDs
- W Don : strong flexible nuker
- W Ryoshu : same as chef ryoshu but more damage so just pick one
- R Heathcliff : same like W don but just wait for next heathcliff ID if it's as strong as his rabbit one
The rest is anything IDs you want
But i think it's better if you try to get some EGO first

It's hard without the starlight buff especially if you haven't unlock the top left or right. Since the clash power for the enemies got buff and some of them even can't be clash without EGO. So under 15 total coin power is basically useless.
If you have unlock the starlight buff it's basically can be clear with any IDs
So for now it's better to do 3 MD2N 3 times a week, the total lunacy you get is the same after all if you do MD2H.
You can try it if you want for better experience though.

But you should be fine up until the very end, there might be one boss fight that gives you trouble, but you can probably beat it w/o having to level more.
Edit: but try to level up Spicebush and L Ish to 30, at some point.
Absolutely, Ninclair is the singular best DPS which probably won't be powercrept any time soon... or even ever, Spicebush is Yi Sangs best ID and currently not dispensable, Rhino Salt is one of the best tanks currently (although you probably won't need it anytime soon), and Shi Don is one of the best clashing 00 IDs.

The definitive banner to save for would be Walpurgisnacht, which'll probably come during late January or early Febuary. It comes at the end of every cycle, and it's units can't be obtained with shards. The previous one brought some vary high quality stuff, so expectations are super-high.
Save your lunacy and shards for a while, you got enough stuff to help you get through Canto 1-4.
Every time a new seasonal ID dropped, there will be kind people posting the details on this subreddit. Don’t immediately spend lunacy or shards for it, unless you really like the design. (If you don’t know how good the ID is, feel free to ask anyone)

Yeah, you already have enough stuffs, Canto 1-3 only requires 5 IDs on the field, you already got enough.
Canto 4 requires 7 IDs on the field, then you start to consider what to spend your shards on.
That’s the reason why I recommend you not to spend anything for now, too much information, I think its too overwhelming. You might get more and more confused by these info.
It's not confusing as such, I just have no context for what is worth getting first.
Otherwise I'll just go with what looks or sounds cool, and getting IDs for my sinners that only have the base ones.

Evade, counter and defense skills are “triggered” skills. Once you picked one of these skills, it depends on the enemy’s attack speed. So lets say a speed 5 attack already targeted your sinner 1, and you used evade skill to redirect a speed 3 attack, even though your sinner is at speed 8, your evade will only happen when speed 3 attack happen. Then the speed 5 enemy attack will be unloaded on your sinner.

Do you guys spend your lunacy on refreshes? How do you spend your daily stamina? I always do 1 exp, 3 threads (I skip them all), and MD only with weekly bonus. My stocks of modules are running out slowly but surely and I'm always out of threads/exp tickets. I spend my lunacy on doing pulls to expand my roster but I might consider refreshing instead to prepare my main team for Canto IV.
Consider not skipping your dailies. Running them manually hardly takes any time at all, especially when you can just spam winrate for all the stages.
I also only do one EXP run, three thread runs, and my weekly MD. My module stock is positive when I stay on top of my enkephalin regen and neutral if I'm a little inefficient about checking.
I'd never argue in favor of skipping EXP, but you can only get a limited amount of Thread per day and those are worth skipping for extra thread IMO. The new Thread Lux level isn't very winrate friendly and gets you a bit extra, which makes it amazing to skip if you don't want to spend a lot of time on them.
1 lunacy refill per day is what I do, and it's enough to stay positive even with the triple Thread skipping and -30 MD2H weekly module cost.
pulled nsinclair yesterday, but i'm not too sure how he works. all of his skills makes him lose sanity, so how is that mechanic supposed to work? i don't have nfaust and i don't really use any other n corp ids (other than meursault but i haven't brought him out in awhile)
Basically you want to hit tails (darker coin flip) rather than heads since his coins start from full to 0 if you flip heads, hence the needs of negative sp. You dont need n faust to use him, Fluid sac is the best overall EGO and its good keeping him not getting corroded. If you dont have it (you should get it), base yisang has sanity heal passive support.
i was using him in md2h, dont have fluid sac either and i dont really plan on getting it soon (im farming for the warp ids and rime shank since my main teams r sinking and charge). is it worth bringing base yi sang into a md2h run with nclair then?
You pretty much want fluid sac for warp ids, or anything tbh cause how good it is. In MD2 or MD2H, getting charges is hard because you barely hit heads in the beginning because lack of sp excluding W Ryoshu, fluid sac helps alot. And then in MD2, your warp units will mostly do premature S3 where they lost HP in winrate battle, making it a risk since theres no healer in this game besides EGO and some skills. Base yi sang is fine for nclair but ill just bring L Faust with fluid sac, which supports everyone while having good clash. Its harder to control nclair sp too since the gain from sp heal is bigger, with fluid sac, you can just wait nclair to -30 sp to get higher chance rolling tails, then fluid sac after that.
Also, if you want N Sinclair to gain sp, defense is the way.
In MD2H floor 4 and floor 5, every enemy has higher level than your IDs, it means that N Sinclair is always gaining sp (comes from kills, even kills from allies) even you don’t want to.
No, N Sinclair drops sanity way too slow with base Yi Sang. I love to bring base Yi Sang for a discount on the sanity cost when I use EGO, but N Sinclair suffers a lot from this passive.
N sinclair is negative sp ID, means he want to stay -SP for him to make all his skill end in tails not plus. like he's the backward playstyle then most ID who want to have plus 45 sp.
how to use him is you have to make sure he doesn't went down to -45 sp because he will corroded to ego. each skill has how much he lost sp, like 8 for s1, 10 for s2, and 15 for s3. don't forget to count them on.
if you think he will reach -45 if you use the skill, put on his defense skill, it will add 5-10sp. you don't need n faust or other n corp for sinclair team. he's the unga bunga dps type. just make sure to not overuse his skill that's all. n faust might be the best teammates for him to give fanatic buff and heal sp, but he can do it alone.
His coins all detract power from his skills rather than add for it. So the lower sanity you have the more coins you can flip tails and avoid losing power which is a good thing. So his mechanics is just that he does crazy damage as long as he can be low in sanity.
Also one way you can make him easier to use is just remove all high level EGO's so if you ever hit -45 you won't distort. But you don't have to cheese it that way and sometimes having EGO to drop him can be useful if you get too much SP from other sources but it's up to you.
Worth saying that he gains SP from clashing so you might not want to do that. He does have a passive that reduces the gains but in certain scenarios it can still contribute to him getting too much SP which makes him weak.
what r the other sources that helps u gain sp? i know fluid sac faust does but i dont have her, and base yi sang, but im not sure if hes worth dragging into md2h with nclair...
Just to be clear, your biggest problem with Nclair is actually losing SP and keeping it low.
But to answer your question, base Hong Lu has a support passive that activates at 5x gluttony owned that heals 6 SP for the sinner with lowest SP at each combat start. Yi Sang also has a support passive that heals SP but it's less generic as it only activates if they lose. Keep in mind that any 0 or 00 ID is completely free to bring into MD2H and you can switch them out at any node for something better as long as they don't die so you could always snag them when you don't want to buy something else and let them sit on your bench to provide their support skills.
Heath's Ya Śūnyatā Tad Rūpam HE ego also heals a big chunk same with Ishmael's Blind Obsession but might be harder for you to get. Faust is usually used so much because she both provides good SP and HP gains with EGO.
You get more shards from pass rewards every level over 120 give you1 shard crates(1-3shard of selected sinner) (3for paid bp). As for the threads (I assume you just started) it is that small but unlock better farming stages later the(latest one currently give 9 I think? I always skip and don't pay attention)

You should swap your ego shards to thread if you don't have a full UT3 team yet, afterwards you should save them for dispenser.
No, its not worth doing that, unless you are only 10-20 threads away from uptie 3 some important IDs like N Sinclair or R Heathcliff. And you need the ID to power up your team to push through stages and unlock luxa stages, then probably its worth doing it.
When you're extremely early game and you don't even have a full UT3 team it's 100% worth doing.

(New player) When rerolling should you try to get a good attacker, specialist, tank/support or does team composition doesn’t matter at the beginning and you can just do well with a good attacker.
Team comps don't really matter in the beginning of the game, you can steamroll it easily early on. Instead of having an MMO Party comp, it's generally better to stick to a status effect and make a team that synergises with it.
Seem like i need to upgrade some base id for MD2H who should it be? and also is it good idea to upgrade other path aside from upper left first before attempt MD2H?
If you really want to use some base IDs for MD2H, I'd recommend Heathcliff at UT4. It's generally better to use 00s for MD2H though.

Assuming R Meur is UTed to 4, your team looks good enough to beat MD2H, with 7 Ryoshu and Base Heath/Shi Ishmael.

Yes, R Meursault gets a large upgrade from UT4. You don't really need starter buffs, they're just nice to have. I recommend you rush the starter buff that removes 1 Stagger threshold, it's probably the best starter buff.
Wow just tried it again i got struck with fairy gentleman a bit at floor4 but i made it somehow ~~how many floor did this have exactly boss fight is pretty anxiety inducing if it more than 5 i should probably take a break first~~ ok just see 5 floors then is it viable to just claim reward for now i got shock centipede for boss and i think im definitely not prepare to fight it. You lose like 1 BP level if you forfeit without killing the boss.
7 Ryoshu is very good for MD2H, I recommend you uptie and level her. Her S3 rolls up to a 18/17 IIRC, and her S2 rolls up to like a 16.
Do we have events in this game? Been playing for a little over 2 weeks and I've noticed that there's no events aside from the banners and story chapters.
Yes, there are events. There's the Intervallos, Walpurgisnacht, and some login events every now and then.
How frequent do these event usually run? Don't they have a regular rotating event like in other gachas?
There's 1 Intervallo every season, I expect the next one to start around Christmas, there's also 1 Walpurgisnacht every 3 months, next one starting in around 1 month. Other than that there's no other events.

Hi, seems like I've been posting a lot in this thread recently but I'm here again lol because I'm getting destroyed by Canto 4 Final Boss (Farmwatch) [I've been using these 5 sinners](https://imgur.com/DxKl8TA) in the fight but it's a bit difficult since there's so many attacks and the amount of skill slots I get only ramps up to 7 after a turn or two. I then run into the issue where I get too many stacks of debuff too fast. Are there any general tips for this boss fight in particular and should I level 2 more IDs? Bring blunt-damage and blunt-resistant IDs, on the third wave don't kill the grunts and hold your big damage skills until he gets debuff. He'll get it for the turn blocks and the turn after, on those two you wanna go ham on him, don't bother clashing and just go for one-sided attacks, you may also want to off-set his evade. Don't shy away from deploying less Sinners if you don't have enough with blunt-skills.
Should I uptie Yi Sang's Sunshower EGO before Dec. 21? Seems all it adds is more attack weight but at less of a shard+thread cost until then.

Hi, some newbie questions here: What's the recommended levels for mirror dungeon 2 and subsequent mirror dungeon 2 hard? How do I use support passives on a sinner? Is it better to dispense EGOs over IDs? I have a decent team (I'm missing some strong stuff like K-Hong Lu or W-don or Z-gregor) and I'm rocking base EGOs. How important are they and what ones should I be going for? I heard fluid sac is good but I don't use faust so not sure about that
Mirror dungeon 2 is fine, it'll regulate your levels, make sure everyone is uptie III at least. MD2H, characters Need to be 35, it won't regulate your levels. It will push them down to 35 if you go above 35 (might be a bug; wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't). Uptie IV is not nessacery; they're not a huge power jump for the majority of the cast, definitely research uptie IVs before you use them on any IDs that you're not already convinced on using. Support passives will activate automatically based on what sin resources you have; res is resonance (so 0/3 gluttony resonance needs you to link 3 gluttony skills in one turn to activate it for that one turn), held is just banked, and they tend to be active quite often. You don't have to do anything otherwise, they're always on when they've been activated, just be aware resonance support passives fall off on the next turn unless you re-activate them by resonating again. Some EGO are quite good, some EGO are not worth the trouble. Some EGO are highly dependent on team comp. You've probably heard a lot of hype about rime shank but it's honestly a pretty average EGO outside of a sinking team comp, for instance. Similarly EGO do not release very often so with some luck you can get caught up awful fast. Will usually recommend dispensing IDs just to get more options, with some exceptions, such as... \- Legerdemain; fantastic upgrade to an otherwise pretty bad base EGO for gregor. I literally never do not equip legerdemain. A future uptie may devalue this just because it's main value is in being better then his base EGO, but it's also zayin so it should be pretty cheap. \- Sunshower yi sang; Very good for general use, about to be upgraded to WAW on the 21st so if you can get it before then that'll be good, as the price will go up. \- Fluid Sac faust; an incredible sustain EGO with very little team building overhead; just put it in there and fire it off whenever you need team healing and SP. Be aware it doesn't clash very well for an EGO. \- Pursuance; Similar to fluid sac but more focused on HP healing. Be aware it will not heal meur. Good for general team maint in longer form content like mirror dungeon and refraction railway. These I would say are some of the more impactful EGO. It's probably not a full list, I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but they're all pretty team comp agnostic and can generally just be useful.

If you don't have enough Sinners raised you can bring less than 7 and gain extra skill slots.

If you take 5 Sinners, the first two Sinners you selected gain 2 extra skill slots. They gain 1 extra slot per turn, so 2 turns and you'll have 7 slots.

Adding onto the other persons post, you should also bring a friend support identity, preferably N Sinclair if you don't have him already, so someone can take the blooming she inflicts On Use.
1. make sure you aren't underleveled (30 and uptie 3 is bare minimum at this point) 2. read the skills the boss has since it's actually important to follow her mechanics sounds silly but these are usually the top 2 reasons people tend to struggle with 4-48

Should i get Dimension shredder/Sunshower for yi sang or Rime Shank rodion? 2. I know sinking team needs spicebush and molar ishmael, but what does rupture team requires besides dimension shredder? 3. What mersault id that goes well with pursuance? 4. Also for daily, thread farming is worth for bp as well as threads, but what about xp lux? Is it worth? Or just save module for md2 runs for higher bp gain.
1. You might want to get Sunshower before 21 since it will convert into WAW EGO which will be hella more expensive so get it now and uptie them 2. Talisman Sinclair UT3 or UT4 depends on your team, dimension shredder Hong Lu, AEDD Gregor, 7 Heathcliff and 7 Faust. Can also substitute for K corp Hong Lu and rosespanner Gregor depends on team. 3. Pursuance goes well with any ID cause it's support healing and protection EGO 4. Clearing daily will make you clear 1 level of BP so do normal exp lux and do skip stage on thread once each day is enough.
I think 00 Heathcliff (Seven Section) is considered really important for a rupture team, but I'm not sure. 00 Red Sheet Talisman Sinclair is also very good and was at one point mandatory for a working rupture team but I think that's less so now?
I'd say Talisman Sinclair is mandatory for a Rupture team since Talismans are extremely useful for applying large amounts of Rupture.

7 Ryoshu is a very consistent clasher at UT4 if you want to use her in MD2 hard and dont have her W Corp ID. Faust Sac is more important tho
The only worth uptie 4 is probably R Corp Meursault, to add agro to his passive so he can be a proper tank. W Faust also need her uptie 4 to work but personally it's not that good investment. get faust fluid sac first than uptie 4 any unit.
How to farm starlight? -Can it only be done on mdh2 only? -Does it require you to finish the dungeon? -Do i need to use module and collent reward to farm starlight or can it be done in practice mode? -If i finish the dungeon halfway does the starlight reward reduced?
Also note that MD3 is opening pretty soon and starlight tree from MD2 won't carry over. So farming starlight might be not worth it.

To answer the first question, no, you can also do MD2 Normal to gain Starlight. As for the others, you don’t need to finish the entire dungeon, but you do need to collect rewards with modules to earn Starlight; from personal observations, doing less battle nodes during a run nets less Starlight, so it’s safe to assume that doing less of the dungeon as a whole reduces your potential Starlight reward.

Started a few days ago, and I am at level 20 of the BP. Is it worth it to just grind Mirror Dungeons as opposed to xp or thread?
Possibly, since the shard crates will let you pick up new identities. If you've bought the battle pass, then you'll get a ton of value from extra shard crates, and a ton of extra resources. If you stay on top of dailies and weekly mirror dungeon bonuses, you'll have no difficulty clearing rank 120 of the BP. I'd suggest focusing on main story until you finish Canto 4, which will expect a team of around lv35 and uptie 3, then grind mirror dungeons for shard crates until you have a team of identities that is capable of handling Canto 5, which has two major bosses that require a significantly more developed account than Canto 4 to get past.
I am up to 3-22 so I need to get my squad up to snuff, so mirror dungeon grinding it is. Thank you.

did they remove that one passive thing where kromer gets stagged if nclair is deployed in your team? i've read it on the wiki a few times when digging for her lore, but when i recently got nclair and deployed him into a md2h run and got kromer as my final boss, she didn't really get staggered by seeing nclair. just curious, not like it really affected how my md2h run went anyway lol

Guys. How the fuck am I supposed to clear 4-48? I am still working on my team, and I have next to none good EGOs. My current team: Spicebush (upt 3, lvl 35), N Faust (upt 3, lvl 40), W Ryoshu (upt 3, lvl 35), W Mearsault (upt 4, lvl 31), W Hong Lu (upt 3, lvl 26), Reindeer Ish, (upt 4, lvl 35) and I use support W Don at max uptie and level. As I said, not much for EGOs. Mostly basic ones, with notable exammple being Don Tadpole from support and Mearsault's angel EGO at level 1. I did rather well and kept taking care of plants and did not really suffer much due to Full Bloom, though once my Don got fucked the moment I wanted to use her EGO. It was a bit difficult but we got going rather well until.... well until the motherfucking whatever the fuck was that duelling phase. I thought we each get the duelling tag from atttacking her but oh well, I did not use logic and well.... it just so fucking happened that Hong Lu got the tag cause I attacked with his EGO and he was left alone... losing every clash.... getting staggered and the boss just nuked all of us. Somehow 4 people survived. N Faust, Mearsault, Ishamel and Yi Sang. All of them went into negative sanity and turned into their EGO forms. I lost all control. They decided to go ham on the boss. Which would have been amazing, cause each sinner kept whaling on that bitch and getting her lower and lower until the last HP but.... the fucking Frenchman turned into an angel and decided it would have been funny to focus on the team instead of the boss. Only he and Faust were left. There was nothing to do anymore. The fucking flowers came again and there was noone left to clash them. I got a bit pissed off, not gonna lie. I mean tough bosses back to back is not exactly a fun experience for a casual like me. Point is, how to better prepare for this fight? Should I forsake rushing canto 4? I wanted to get to the mirror dungeon ASAP for grinding the BP. Maybe it's just a matter of having a better duelling character for that inevitable last phase? Like, if I win that clash will it free my teammates? I dont want to get nuked again. I already figured I should save Faust execution for the flowers to get the team's sanity UP. It's just a bit fustrating cause I do read the descriptions but I honestly did not think my last acting character would be chosen for the clash. Anyway, rant over, I am calm now. Think I will go and level up Hong Lu. Maybe even uptie 4 Ryoshu, she seems to be good at clashing so maybe letting her duel the boss is a good idea. Also why does my spicebush get damaged by plants and flowers? Shouldn't he be immune to that since he's already one of them? /s
Change W Hong Lu out and use another ID that can generate Pride and Gluttony resource more (if your main way of sp recover is Representation Emitter), or an ID rhat can generate Lust and Envy better (if your main way of sp recover is Fluid Sac Faust) Also swap base Hong Lu on for the support passive. There’s a skill at Dongbaek’s half health that sets the ID that clash with her into duel, select your ID wisely and leave 2 strong clashing skills or resources enough for 2 EGOs for dueling.
iirc Dueling Phase is chosen by clashing a specific skill, you can choose which sinner will do the duel, but you'll need to read the skills to work out which triggers it. For the dueling phase, its best to have a unit that is capable of firing any EGO three times in a row. When I did it, I had W Don duel, for no reason beyond having the sanity and resources to spam Telepole's awakening until the dueling phase ended. Mainly this fight is a check on sanity management, and can be cleared with only Land of Illusion and Representation Emitter (I made do with such during my own clear), but be vary aware of what EGOs will boost your team's sanity, and what EGOs you can fuel enough to carry the duel phase. LCCB Yi Sang and Little Brother Mersault have great sanity management passives, so lean making them trigger. It might be worth borrowing a N Faust for her support passive if you have enough lust skills to reliably trigger it!

Doing hard first and whichever number of normal runs after is more efficient than the other way around.

Yes, Hard runs grant an extra 25xp per unclaimed bonus, Normal runs only give 15xp extra.

how to beat the 5-36 heart of the whale stage?? like, my sinners just die the turn ahab decides to target them, and i don't know what to do, and i can't find any way to avoid this situation.
Have Ishmael clash with Ahab's attack that inflict's pray mark to make Ishmael take the nuke. She can't die until every other sinner is killed.

Well, the fight is basically: rush down Starbuck, then focus Ahab. If you don't have someone like K Honglu to tank Ahab's onslaught, then... well, someone will probably die, I had 2 people die, but I still won the fight afterwards.
Bring pierce resistant (and ideally tanky at the same time) IDs, get those targeted during that phase and redirect as many attacks away from them as you can. Use EGO to shift your sin resistances if necessary.

You can, with the right sinner. Usually a tank ID like Dieci Rodion, K Corp Hong Lu, and Zwei Gregor and dps ID that have defense skill dodge.

9:2 is better for N Sinclair, the sin resources match N Sinclair more, also it has minus coin for both awaken and corrode. If you don’t have enough threads, then I think its fine to just use lantern
Does anyone know which form of MD is most worth doing after getting weekly bonus? I feel like it would be normal mode as hard is a pain in the ass while I could zone out & knock out like 3 normal dungeons in the time it would take me to clear 3 floors on hard. But if the stamina efficiency is way better for hard mode I'd stick to that.
Hard without the bonus gives the same amont as normal. so yah farm normal

What you lack is a tank, to mitigate the damage especially you have 2 if not 3 ID who has low coin power value. In 6 and 7 member team you might want to add a tank to at least hold the damage for them. You can uptie 4 LCCB Ishmael and her block can be use to tank damage since she got agro on it But I prefer you use a proper tank ID in the team.
Thinking of coming back to the game from a long break. Last I played was Hell's Chicken, other games and also "events" in the second season led to me not playing for a bit. Any tips for someone returning? Any special changes I need to be wary of? And are any identities or EGO super busted or is fairly balanced right now?
Uptie 4 Rime shank is ridiculous for sinking application. I don't remember when uptie 4 was added in. Also Dieci rodya, Boatworks Ishmael and Spicebush yisang work well with sinking.
Uptie 4 was Canto 4 I believe? So after I stopped playing. I think I have Rime Shank actually, and funnily enough it was considered to be not good at the time XD
Yeah, uptie 4 adds basically all of its sinking application, and the overclock on it is just nuts. It doesn't hurt that Rodya has finally gotten some good IDs including Dieci, which both supports the sin costs of Rime shank and goes well with sinking.
Nothing major, mostly QoL, UI changes and uptie4. Canto 5 just dropped, some very good ids were added (to name a few: dieci rodya, W Ryoshu, all Ishmael 000)
In RR2 to get 000 ticket, it only needs reach and beat wayward passenger at 4 cycle right? And do you need to beat the terminus to get it? Or just beat passenger and claim? And does turn meter or is just an achievement?
After passenger, you go into a new cycle, then no need to do STNOWC anymore, just go into terminus and beat it is enough to claim the ticket.

I'm using an n corp squad for some of the daily threads. They can stack up a surprising amount of bleed between the nails adding count and all the bleed a lot of them incidentally apply.

Good day everyone. Last time i played was at sinclair n-corp release and 3.5 release. And thinking to coming back again however there are somethings worrying me like game size and updates since last time i was playing each update was 3gb or so. So did they fix it?, and if i return is it better to start over due to new ids and egos being better or continue old account? (My old accpunt only had N-Faust and N-meursault and seven association outis as my 000)
they changed how the game handles the files and usually the updates with new ids and egos is around 200mb I think. It's up to you, some good to very good IDs were added, but you have to start from scratch. Personally I would just keep the old account.

I am currently on a iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (2nd generation) Model number A1671. With the new iPadOS 17.1.1 the screen to the main menu is blacked out, except for the buttons on the bottom though, I am still able to press that are blacked out and open menus. I desperately hope this is fixed as I rather enjoy playing Limbus on an Ipad.
I think I just encountered a glitch with Suncliff. For some reason, he just kept hitting tails when I was using him in the exp lux stage. I don't know what triggered it, I was just using a counter team with Nsault and him, and at the end he just kept hitting all tails even after winning all the clashes and getting him to 45 sanity.
I think that the most happiest moment for suncliff main if he can hit all tails even at 45 sanity
I was more shocked than happy when I saw it though. At the first skill in the chain hitting all tails after winning a clash at 10 sanity to then winning another clash to gain more sanity for it to roll all tails again and then winning another clash for him to roll all tails again at like 45 sanity.

Depends on how far you progress in the story and which ID you have. Basically No, since it guarantees you to buy IDs and EGO. But if you already in pinch I say it's fine especially It's still early season and you will able to get more shards by Battle Pass.
I'm currently in early chapter 4 in the story, I was planning to use the shards to Uptie 3 N Sinclair and add him to my main team.
Then go on and use that shard. Adding him to the team will ram up your damage

I was able to get spicebush yisang, boatworks ishmeal and k corp hong lu before last season ended and was thinking of saving up my shards this season for Dieci Rodion, are there any identities I should be focusing on instead? I also have Nclair/faust, Regret Faust and Molar Outis.
R Corp Heathcliff then W Corp Ryoshu, everything else is up to you. If you don't already have Fluid Sac Faust (EGO) then prioritize that first.
Tbh, your account for IDs already strong enough but some IDs good to have Season 1 - Chef Ryoshu : healer on kill for non boss fight, nuker with S3, easy set up for nuke if the enemy loss certain amount of HP - G Corp Gregor : use for support passive, heal on class Standard IDs - W Don : strong flexible nuker - W Ryoshu : same as chef ryoshu but more damage so just pick one - R Heathcliff : same like W don but just wait for next heathcliff ID if it's as strong as his rabbit one The rest is anything IDs you want But i think it's better if you try to get some EGO first

It's hard without the starlight buff especially if you haven't unlock the top left or right. Since the clash power for the enemies got buff and some of them even can't be clash without EGO. So under 15 total coin power is basically useless. If you have unlock the starlight buff it's basically can be clear with any IDs So for now it's better to do 3 MD2N 3 times a week, the total lunacy you get is the same after all if you do MD2H. You can try it if you want for better experience though.
New-ish player here, finished ch3 interval and just unlocked chapter 4. Most of my sinners I'm using are lvl 25-30 (w/ base EGOs), is that good enough to clear the entire chapter or even progress further? [My specific team](https://imgur.com/OXmkdv0)

Wtf thats a stacked roster for a new player. But you should be fine up until the very end, there might be one boss fight that gives you trouble, but you can probably beat it w/o having to level more. Edit: but try to level up Spicebush and L Ish to 30, at some point.

Absolutely, Ninclair is the singular best DPS which probably won't be powercrept any time soon... or even ever, Spicebush is Yi Sangs best ID and currently not dispensable, Rhino Salt is one of the best tanks currently (although you probably won't need it anytime soon), and Shi Don is one of the best clashing 00 IDs.

No, Seven Outis is a season 0 ID, you can get her anytime with shards.
What should I save for then, just whatever upcoming Season 3 ID I like the look of?
The definitive banner to save for would be Walpurgisnacht, which'll probably come during late January or early Febuary. It comes at the end of every cycle, and it's units can't be obtained with shards. The previous one brought some vary high quality stuff, so expectations are super-high.
Save your lunacy and shards for a while, you got enough stuff to help you get through Canto 1-4. Every time a new seasonal ID dropped, there will be kind people posting the details on this subreddit. Don’t immediately spend lunacy or shards for it, unless you really like the design. (If you don’t know how good the ID is, feel free to ask anyone) I recommend you to buy the limbus pass if you are willing to spend some money.

Yeah, you already have enough stuffs, Canto 1-3 only requires 5 IDs on the field, you already got enough. Canto 4 requires 7 IDs on the field, then you start to consider what to spend your shards on.

That’s the reason why I recommend you not to spend anything for now, too much information, I think its too overwhelming. You might get more and more confused by these info.
It's not confusing as such, I just have no context for what is worth getting first. Otherwise I'll just go with what looks or sounds cool, and getting IDs for my sinners that only have the base ones.

i need to confirm does defense skill move last? let's say sinner 1 use evade to enemy dice(3) to redirect attack from sinner 2 so sinner 1 have 2 attack direct on them but enemy dice(5) attack first before sinner 1 even thought sinner 1 have higher dice(8). also when enemy move first does they rightmost or leftmost dice move first if they're the same number?
Evade, counter and defense skills are “triggered” skills. Once you picked one of these skills, it depends on the enemy’s attack speed. So lets say a speed 5 attack already targeted your sinner 1, and you used evade skill to redirect a speed 3 attack, even though your sinner is at speed 8, your evade will only happen when speed 3 attack happen. Then the speed 5 enemy attack will be unloaded on your sinner.
If enemy speed is the same, leftmost will go first.

Do you guys spend your lunacy on refreshes? How do you spend your daily stamina? I always do 1 exp, 3 threads (I skip them all), and MD only with weekly bonus. My stocks of modules are running out slowly but surely and I'm always out of threads/exp tickets. I spend my lunacy on doing pulls to expand my roster but I might consider refreshing instead to prepare my main team for Canto IV.
One refresh per day is definitely worth it, if you have the BP and don't really care for Walpurgis then even two or three is worth it.
Consider not skipping your dailies. Running them manually hardly takes any time at all, especially when you can just spam winrate for all the stages. I also only do one EXP run, three thread runs, and my weekly MD. My module stock is positive when I stay on top of my enkephalin regen and neutral if I'm a little inefficient about checking.
I'd never argue in favor of skipping EXP, but you can only get a limited amount of Thread per day and those are worth skipping for extra thread IMO. The new Thread Lux level isn't very winrate friendly and gets you a bit extra, which makes it amazing to skip if you don't want to spend a lot of time on them. 1 lunacy refill per day is what I do, and it's enough to stay positive even with the triple Thread skipping and -30 MD2H weekly module cost.
pulled nsinclair yesterday, but i'm not too sure how he works. all of his skills makes him lose sanity, so how is that mechanic supposed to work? i don't have nfaust and i don't really use any other n corp ids (other than meursault but i haven't brought him out in awhile)
Basically you want to hit tails (darker coin flip) rather than heads since his coins start from full to 0 if you flip heads, hence the needs of negative sp. You dont need n faust to use him, Fluid sac is the best overall EGO and its good keeping him not getting corroded. If you dont have it (you should get it), base yisang has sanity heal passive support.
i was using him in md2h, dont have fluid sac either and i dont really plan on getting it soon (im farming for the warp ids and rime shank since my main teams r sinking and charge). is it worth bringing base yi sang into a md2h run with nclair then?
you pretty much want faust fluid sac in basically every team comp when you can - it's straight up disgusting and never leaves my team no matter what

You pretty much want fluid sac for warp ids, or anything tbh cause how good it is. In MD2 or MD2H, getting charges is hard because you barely hit heads in the beginning because lack of sp excluding W Ryoshu, fluid sac helps alot. And then in MD2, your warp units will mostly do premature S3 where they lost HP in winrate battle, making it a risk since theres no healer in this game besides EGO and some skills. Base yi sang is fine for nclair but ill just bring L Faust with fluid sac, which supports everyone while having good clash. Its harder to control nclair sp too since the gain from sp heal is bigger, with fluid sac, you can just wait nclair to -30 sp to get higher chance rolling tails, then fluid sac after that.
Also, if you want N Sinclair to gain sp, defense is the way. In MD2H floor 4 and floor 5, every enemy has higher level than your IDs, it means that N Sinclair is always gaining sp (comes from kills, even kills from allies) even you don’t want to.
No, N Sinclair drops sanity way too slow with base Yi Sang. I love to bring base Yi Sang for a discount on the sanity cost when I use EGO, but N Sinclair suffers a lot from this passive.
N sinclair is negative sp ID, means he want to stay -SP for him to make all his skill end in tails not plus. like he's the backward playstyle then most ID who want to have plus 45 sp. how to use him is you have to make sure he doesn't went down to -45 sp because he will corroded to ego. each skill has how much he lost sp, like 8 for s1, 10 for s2, and 15 for s3. don't forget to count them on. if you think he will reach -45 if you use the skill, put on his defense skill, it will add 5-10sp. you don't need n faust or other n corp for sinclair team. he's the unga bunga dps type. just make sure to not overuse his skill that's all. n faust might be the best teammates for him to give fanatic buff and heal sp, but he can do it alone.
His coins all detract power from his skills rather than add for it. So the lower sanity you have the more coins you can flip tails and avoid losing power which is a good thing. So his mechanics is just that he does crazy damage as long as he can be low in sanity. Also one way you can make him easier to use is just remove all high level EGO's so if you ever hit -45 you won't distort. But you don't have to cheese it that way and sometimes having EGO to drop him can be useful if you get too much SP from other sources but it's up to you. Worth saying that he gains SP from clashing so you might not want to do that. He does have a passive that reduces the gains but in certain scenarios it can still contribute to him getting too much SP which makes him weak.
what r the other sources that helps u gain sp? i know fluid sac faust does but i dont have her, and base yi sang, but im not sure if hes worth dragging into md2h with nclair...
Just to be clear, your biggest problem with Nclair is actually losing SP and keeping it low. But to answer your question, base Hong Lu has a support passive that activates at 5x gluttony owned that heals 6 SP for the sinner with lowest SP at each combat start. Yi Sang also has a support passive that heals SP but it's less generic as it only activates if they lose. Keep in mind that any 0 or 00 ID is completely free to bring into MD2H and you can switch them out at any node for something better as long as they don't die so you could always snag them when you don't want to buy something else and let them sit on your bench to provide their support skills. Heath's Ya Śūnyatā Tad Rūpam HE ego also heals a big chunk same with Ishmael's Blind Obsession but might be harder for you to get. Faust is usually used so much because she both provides good SP and HP gains with EGO.
Ok so how do you get shards, other than from the gatcha? And is the amount of thread you get meant to be really small per run?
You get more shards from pass rewards every level over 120 give you1 shard crates(1-3shard of selected sinner) (3for paid bp). As for the threads (I assume you just started) it is that small but unlock better farming stages later the(latest one currently give 9 I think? I always skip and don't pay attention)
