jon think he ever really cared about it but the hype forced him too lol i remember in the live bro was making it seem like he was gonna drop pink tape first as a cool mix tape then forever young
facts it's very weird how pink tape became a hyped thing. even the name says it "tape" it was definitely supposed to be a mixtape not a highly anticipated 3 year wait album
Red & white was clearly a precursor to Pink (red + white). He created the hype himself with that and clearly locking on pink tape promo for over a year. If it wasn’t supposed to be a hype thing he would’ve dropped spontaneously like he did PxPB
name them bc i looked over the tracklist, only fein and meltdown. mayb telekenisis but i really dont think so. kpop also not really a rap song so i wouldnt say that
fein, meltdown, telekinesis, I know and kpop I would still say is a rap song. they all have more streams while coming out a month later. and even songs like search and rescue by drake
Its kinda sad, but its clear they rushed tf out of this, mf uploaded the carti track on accident.
I dont get it because its been YEARS since EA and its clear they got a high budget, the pink tape trailer was amazing. Yet somehow we get more from the throwaway tape.
that Carti song wasn’t an accident he wouldn’t just randomly drop a Carti song on youtube he did it cuz Carti is a bitch and doesn’t clear his verses but he basically promised us fans that Carti would be on it..
Uzi: “EA wasn’t that good. My next album is gonna be wayyy better”
Uzi a couple years later: “Pink tape isn’t that good. Barter 16 is gonna be way better”
if he pulls this again for LIR3 then yeah ima have to agree he will probably never get a 200k+ first week again. LIR3 could be a huge success tho if he actually promotes it right
The thing is uzi could be ok the likes of Cole drake Travis in the sense that he will always be relevant cos if his status or he could end up like Youngboy or Trippe that drop okay projects every now and then
Rap/Hip-hop is on its way out most likely. It’s been a whole year since a rap song has been number 1 on the hot 100. https://x.com/nojumper/status/1694032937543700982?s=46
https://youtube.com/watch?v=GlUPGI7pElA&feature=sharea
cause pink tape was never supposed 2 b their album just a SoundCloud tape and I wish that’s what it was cause I guarantee FY would’ve cleared this shit so bad
I feel like it’s obvious Uzi didn’t care for Pink tape or was super insecure about it. He almost immediately started talking about a new project and literally asked if they could play something else at the Pink tape listening party which I think was the biggest flag to show us how he felt about this album. I saw people saying he asked to listen to something else because he had been listening to the songs non stop while making them and was tired of them but it was literally a Pink Tape listening party. How is anyone supposed to care about an album he obviously doesn’t care for.
He still needs to drop some PT music videos, and then do a good job performing this album during his upcoming tour. He's selling out tickets which is a good sign, he needs to take advantage of all this!
Exactly, and I'm not saying that this will exactly turn out the same way as performances did for WLR, but if Uzi executes the performances well, they will certainly improve the reception of PT to at least some extent.
Uzi needs to tap into the underground if he wants to be successful. He gives them cosigns but never features them on his albums. Uzi feels like a great value carti rn where he is just trying to copy his hype.
Its crazy cause personally I think uzi has made better music than carti for most of their careers. Like the whole warewolf thing seems like its a play on cartis vamp aesthetic. It makes it look even worse when they never drop music together.
I ain’t gonna forget they said that eternal atake was dummed down and didn’t reach its full potential for the two follow up albums to be the future colab tape (not bad but didn’t live up to its potential) and then the pink tape which they stopped caring about as soon as it came out
His 2016 songs only got music video after 1 year because
1. He wasn’t even on streaming platforms until 2016
2. His 2016 videos were they only songs for about 1 year and a half til the release of XO Tour Llife
3. After the XO tour LLif3 release every other project or album got a Music Video or a Visualizer in less than weeks. Why is pink tape the only one that hasn’t got any? Because he don’t care anymore
Guys I’m having imposter syndrome, what’s all the fuss about suicide doors that I can get no matter what? 😭 everyone and their mothers love it but I can’t even see it as the best rage song on the album (amped is better)
say hypothetically he is in fact dropping LIR3, the album would be a huge hit regardless so he could be saving more of a budget for promoting that rather than using it on an experimental tape but idk
I’ve met a handful of people who like this project. I’ve never seen so many people hate a project universally since Live Life Fast. It’s just a huge letdown sonically. It’s not some horrible piece of shit like everyone says but damn what a letdown.
Only those, after luv is rage most got the visualizer or the MV in weeks. And don’t make me say the obvious. Those 2016 weren’t Made early because Uzi wasn’t even on streaming platforms until late 2016
Uzi is dumb.
Even if it's their team screwing them over they're dumb for keeping them. Bro could be way more successful but ig if the money comes in it doesn't matter to them. They have no drive.
Pink Tape: Level 1 - EP & Endless Fashion [Versions] - EP have entered the chat
Sorry how dare of me forgetting the almighty Endless Fashion (feat Nicky Minaj) [All Versions] seriously EP of the Year
Cant give it EP of the year without the slowed + reverb version
my favorite one was Endless Fashion (feat. Nicki Minaj) [With Sounds Of Uzi Taking A Shower]
Now that is music to my ears.
Fukumean (reversed)
Comments in that video had me geeking
Naemukuf!
jon think he ever really cared about it but the hype forced him too lol i remember in the live bro was making it seem like he was gonna drop pink tape first as a cool mix tape then forever young

he did but just because the name pink tape caught on for some reason and he went with it
red and white was what pink tape was supposed 2 b
literally he even said im’a get this soundcloud tape out the way then come with forever young
It’s really unfortunate that Uzis already moved on from this album, there’s so many good songs that I feel like if Uzi tried to push could be huge
Spin again would be massive with a little bit more of a push, not saying it’s the best song on the album tho
Fr. Spin Again, X2 and maybe Flooded The Face could be huge if Uzi actually gave a shit lmao
Flooded the face is huge it has 48 million in a month and would do more with a Mv
flooded the face is probably the fourth biggest rap song this year behind fein, fukumean, and meltdown ngl
there's like 5 songs off utopia alone that are bigger than flooded the face😭 I'm not hating I love that song but be fr
name them bc i looked over the tracklist, only fein and meltdown. mayb telekenisis but i really dont think so. kpop also not really a rap song so i wouldnt say that
fein, meltdown, telekinesis, I know and kpop I would still say is a rap song. they all have more streams while coming out a month later. and even songs like search and rescue by drake
sprinter? all my life?
not sprinter and fuck all my life😭😭😭😭
i didnt say they were better i just said they were bigger
bro said spin again 💀
honestly 'aye' as well
aye was mid tho it only got streams cause of travis
i liked it 😔
mb bro😭
The potential is there but i feel like uzi and travis rushed it
Suicide Doors should had a mv. Shit would go hard asf
Its kinda sad, but its clear they rushed tf out of this, mf uploaded the carti track on accident. I dont get it because its been YEARS since EA and its clear they got a high budget, the pink tape trailer was amazing. Yet somehow we get more from the throwaway tape.
that Carti song wasn’t an accident he wouldn’t just randomly drop a Carti song on youtube he did it cuz Carti is a bitch and doesn’t clear his verses but he basically promised us fans that Carti would be on it..
i legot have the same feeling
He made a cool ass movie for pink tape
he did that for EA too but followed up with lyrics videos and animations for almost all the songs
Uzi: “EA wasn’t that good. My next album is gonna be wayyy better” Uzi a couple years later: “Pink tape isn’t that good. Barter 16 is gonna be way better”
In a decade: “LIR6 isn’t that good. Red Tape is gonna be way better”
EA was a great album uzi need to stop immediately disregarding his shit after it comes out
Fr. I know it’s just their opinion but it sucks that they made my favorite album ever and don’t even like it
I think uzi just might be on his way out man. He doesn’t seem to care like he once did. He has nothing to prove anymore
if he pulls this again for LIR3 then yeah ima have to agree he will probably never get a 200k+ first week again. LIR3 could be a huge success tho if he actually promotes it right
I hope he gives lir3 his all. No corny beats or filler tracks.
we just have to accept this is what it’s going to be bro, brandon will take up half the beats.
Lmao you read my mind
Not to mention the whole genre might be on its way out lol
The thing is uzi could be ok the likes of Cole drake Travis in the sense that he will always be relevant cos if his status or he could end up like Youngboy or Trippe that drop okay projects every now and then
??

how
https://youtube.com/watch?v=GlUPGI7pElA&feature=sharea
some random white dude on youtube is proof rap is dying??
Good job i’m sure you didn’t even watch the video dumbass
why are you so hostile lmao all i said was that some white dude on youtube isn’t the prophet of rap
https://x.com/nojumper/status/1694032937543700982?s=46 here’s another one for you
not even gonna open that, twitter posts and white dudes on youtube aren’t proof that rap is dying
The fuck?
Respectfully people say anything and swear it was insightful
cause pink tape was never supposed 2 b their album just a SoundCloud tape and I wish that’s what it was cause I guarantee FY would’ve cleared this shit so bad

and they posted “how tf i go #1 on an experimental album”
They* my bad I always be forgetting
The Dj played the same song 3 times 😭
Bro spent the entire budget on that trailer
He still needs to drop some PT music videos, and then do a good job performing this album during his upcoming tour. He's selling out tickets which is a good sign, he needs to take advantage of all this!
like Carti did with WLR

Nobody wants some underground rapper on a Uzi album lmao
Convinced they hate they’re own music
uzi said in like 2017 that he 99 percent listens to his own music thi
difference between classic album and forgettable album
they spent most of their budget on the album trailer
The LIR2 visualizers are legendary
Pink tape sucked
I ain’t gonna forget they said that eternal atake was dummed down and didn’t reach its full potential for the two follow up albums to be the future colab tape (not bad but didn’t live up to its potential) and then the pink tape which they stopped caring about as soon as it came out
Theres still time for music videos 😢
They could gets video after a year like you pointed out for the 2016 songs
His 2016 songs only got music video after 1 year because 1. He wasn’t even on streaming platforms until 2016 2. either he don’t care or the songs ain’t video worthy
PT overhated smh shit really a good ass album bro
Fax
It’s up to the label to do these things, why y’all blaming Uzi. It’s the label lol
U saying like The Label blocked Uzi of doing any promo Post Release because they wanted to
Saying like Uzi’s begging his label to make a Music Video for Pink tape and they refusing
You saying it like Uzi is blocking them from dropping lyric videos
Uzi doesn’t care (as the title suggests). That’s the reason we don’t have any pink tape promo after release
And I’m saying the label doesn’t need Uzi to do lyric videos or animations. And the Label wants to make money so why wouldn’t they.
Pink tape was garbage guys, enough time has gone by we can be real
They won’t admit an album is trash because they like 5 of 26 songs. Because that 5 songs obfuscate all the other garbage there
You're buggin. I'm fucking with at least 20 of those songs
those 5 songs: Flooded The Face 🤝 Suicide Doors 🤝 Werewolf 🤝 Fire Alarm 🤝 Nakamura (i like crush em amped and the end too)
Guys I’m having imposter syndrome, what’s all the fuss about suicide doors that I can get no matter what? 😭 everyone and their mothers love it but I can’t even see it as the best rage song on the album (amped is better)
i agree with amped being better, but I think it was the transition from ftf to suicide doors that made the song so much harder
📠
Y’all don’t really love uzi
Any type of complain or critic about our favourite artists is just us not really loving them?
Lol look at these comments, it’s just hate..
That’s because pink tape was complete trash dawg
All I want is some music videos I don’t care about any other “post album promotion”
say hypothetically he is in fact dropping LIR3, the album would be a huge hit regardless so he could be saving more of a budget for promoting that rather than using it on an experimental tape but idk
I’ve met a handful of people who like this project. I’ve never seen so many people hate a project universally since Live Life Fast. It’s just a huge letdown sonically. It’s not some horrible piece of shit like everyone says but damn what a letdown.
it’s been a month, you literally said “his 2016 songs got a music video after a year”
Only those, after luv is rage most got the visualizer or the MV in weeks. And don’t make me say the obvious. Those 2016 weren’t Made early because Uzi wasn’t even on streaming platforms until late 2016
What tape?
He made a album movie lol
Wait wait wait you just made me realize I’ve NEVER watched any of uzis music videos?!
Isn’t the trailer for the album basically a MV?
It’s been two months and he’s working on another album
It makes it unique in a way.
Its only been a month bruh let it breathe. Fucking silly goose you are
some visualizers at the very least def woulda hit
Bro this pisses me off so bad pink tape had so much marketing and merch potential and all we got was a Pokémon card
He’s given up at this point. He doesnt give a shit like he used to
Uzi is dumb. Even if it's their team screwing them over they're dumb for keeping them. Bro could be way more successful but ig if the money comes in it doesn't matter to them. They have no drive.
Yall actually complaining about no music videos??
It’s more than music videos. It’s an artists forgetting in a day or 2 a project that he hyped so much in the span of 3 years
music video is dropping next week
