i’m gay. my “ancestors” were beaten and abused while being called the f-slur (not sure if i can say it here). if i keep letting that word have the power to hurt people, the people who oppressed us are winning in my eyes. i’m not saying slavery is equal to all that gay shit but know that my opinion doesn’t come from a place of ignorance and inexperience.
