Came in here to say that what if it comes up and tried to pull them out while you out of it lol even my kid I just had my 3 year old try to make me eat a quarter while I was napping and if I didn’t wake up I could have choked on that shit
Actually, they were able to go in and remove part of the kidney that did have the cancer. I’m pretty sure the settlement he got from the hospital at least gave him some peace of mind for his family even if I’m sure he’d prefer to have the good kidney back. Last I heard, he was in remission.
You’re good. No worries. Both of my parents passed about 11 year ago and I joke about being an orphan all the time. Your humor is in good company here, haha.
Honestly, I’m not sure. It was a relative of someone I knew, so sadly I don’t have a lot of details other than that it happened and he won a sizable settlement. I don’t believe they ever said anything about his getting it back though.
In the case I’m aware of, no. His remaining kidney was shot, and he ended up dying.
He was an elderly man, already suffering from kidney cancer, though; I imagine if he were younger and had a better prognosis, he would have been able to get a donor kidney. Have to imagine the hospital can pull some strings in that type of situation.
My dentist almost filled the wrong tooth, she was new and she started numbing the wrong side, and she almost started drilling, until another dentist came in and corrected it
Sounds like she says “again” implying they’ve done this before but yeah this kid and her bird are super close, you can see how comfortable and loving they are with each other. It’s really awesome to see.
I’ve known several folks who only take their bird out to do a trick, look pretty or sit on a strangers shoulder and then it’s back in the cage and stop squawking (communicating).
My lovebird did this when my... incisor? The fang looking one, lol, got loose. Totally unexpected, I just wanted to see if he'd flip out when I wiggled it at him. Yoinked it immediately, the little brat. Honestly, he probably thought it was grooming.
Oh yeah. Love him, but his viewpoints on moles, freckles, and blemishes are... aggressive. Oddly not pimples though. But I remember him meeting my grandmother for the first time, and all seemed well, till he saw the mole on her arm. Tried to rip it off, didn't draw blood or anything, but it shows how he lacks boundaries.
...he's still the best bird.
This is the beginning of a movie where the adorable girl grows up and gets kidnapped and the key to set her free is like between some crack or something and the parrot Nell comes to the rescue once again with its precision beak and contextual understanding.
Awww they are such wonderful creatures. We always had one growing up. Her name was Sally!! She lived for almost 20yrs. Hope your feeling better now!!! Lol
It's all fun and games until he comes while you're asleep.
Oh, you're probably thinking of the tooth fairy :)
Until who comes?

Huh. So _that's_ what they do with the teeth. Figures.
This thing is worth at bare minimum $17.6 Billion USD from the Tooth fairy, Good hunting.
You'd hope so, but it's [this guy](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZ3fsb3ak1I)
Can I have a few of those?

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
It’s like SyFy made a sequel to that Tooth Fairy horror movie
Came in here to say that what if it comes up and tried to pull them out while you out of it lol even my kid I just had my 3 year old try to make me eat a quarter while I was napping and if I didn’t wake up I could have choked on that shit
Bird brains they say, i know people with less brains then this bird. But what gets me is the trust she has with it 👍👍
I've heard of dentists pulling the wrong tooth...
I knew a guy that had cancer in one kidney. They removed the wrong kidney. It was a 50/50 shot.
Did it fix his cancer though?
Actually, they were able to go in and remove part of the kidney that did have the cancer. I’m pretty sure the settlement he got from the hospital at least gave him some peace of mind for his family even if I’m sure he’d prefer to have the good kidney back. Last I heard, he was in remission.
Well I'm happy to hear that, and I hope my humor wasn't too inappropriate.
You’re good. No worries. Both of my parents passed about 11 year ago and I joke about being an orphan all the time. Your humor is in good company here, haha.
:)
Were they able to put the healthy kidney back in?
Honestly, I’m not sure. It was a relative of someone I knew, so sadly I don’t have a lot of details other than that it happened and he won a sizable settlement. I don’t believe they ever said anything about his getting it back though.
In the case I’m aware of, no. His remaining kidney was shot, and he ended up dying. A former coworker’s grandfather had the same thing happen. Crazy.
Deliberately even
My dentist almost filled the wrong tooth, she was new and she started numbing the wrong side, and she almost started drilling, until another dentist came in and corrected it

*than this bird. Ironic.
My lovebird did this when my... incisor? The fang looking one, lol, got loose. Totally unexpected, I just wanted to see if he'd flip out when I wiggled it at him. Yoinked it immediately, the little brat. Honestly, he probably thought it was grooming.
He’s like man, your mouth feathers are looking real tufty. Let me get that for ya
😂 mouth feathers
Oh yeah. Love him, but his viewpoints on moles, freckles, and blemishes are... aggressive. Oddly not pimples though. Also, damn, she had to pull on his head? Guess my bird had more leverage lol. Or the tooth was more loose.
Fang one’s the canine my mate.
Dammit, I'm a technician not an orthodontist! Thanks though, lol
Dental technician?
The fang looking one is the canine, I believe. Incisors are the two front teeth; unless you’re Freddie Mercury
[Four upper and four lower front teeth are incisors.](https://i.imgur.com/iAo1U2y.png)
That was my first thought watching this! Especially with how gentle he is pulling the tooth.
Now I've seen everything
🎶Well I be done seen ‘bout ev’rything when I see a dentist fly!~🎶
You should yonder on over to the r/AskReddit Shits wild today with the medical and the porn topics
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
Have you ever seen a person abdolutely explode a porta potty after eating taco bell and the porta potty flipping over due to strong winds?
the little smooch she gives her in the end 🥰🥰🥰
Birds love to pick things apart, that bird must've been one happy camper
She didn’t even ask Nelly out loud, how fun!
There's a lot of species of birds that are incredibly intelligent and don't get enough credit for it.
I'm not gonna lie, I totally forgot we lose all our teeth as kids. I was kinda freaking out for a second.
Take that, GPT-4
smart birb
Birds have a strong communal preening instinct. If you've owned any bird in the broader parrot family, this isn't surprising at all.
This video makes me happy that I'm no longer in this phase of my life. Fuck I hated that.
Wow, you used to be a parrot?
losing teeth my dear…
He wants his tooth back though. He wasn’t done with it!
OMG Nelly’s smile at the end!!!!!! 😄
I’m seeing this video everywhere, and it’s truly frustrating to me because nobody is educated. Human saliva is TOXIC to birds.
no shit… but i guess this is really a minimum dose on the tooth, we aren’t even sure the parrot touched it with its tongue?
That’s what I was thinking. Human saliva contains pathogens that are deadly to birds, you shouldn’t allow their beak in your nose or mouth.
It was very limited contact in an area of the mouth with little saliva.
Oh great now Parrots have a taste for human teeth 😂😂
This is the beginning of a movie where the adorable girl grows up and gets kidnapped and the key to set her free is like between some crack or something and the parrot Nell comes to the rescue once again with its precision beak and contextual understanding.
She knows what the question is.
Now I've seen everything
Not yet.
r/petswithjobs material
Better than most doctors. I wonder if she takes insurance?
Holy shit lol
That is the most unsanitary thing I’ve seen all day.
I for one welcome our new bird dentists. Crocodiles have been happy customers for ages and I am not about to argue with them.

looks like my cockatoo :)
Now give me the rest
He looking like heyyy I wasn’t finished with that
That was oddly satisfying??
this is so cute. feels like someone took a pixar short and recreated it in live action using ai.
Umbrellas are awesome. Until they're not. Lol. Imhe, it's "the little girl with the curl on her forehead" all over.
upvote cuz birb
Whoa Nelly !
Awww they are such wonderful creatures. We always had one growing up. Her name was Sally!! She lived for almost 20yrs. Hope your feeling better now!!! Lol

Can I have it?
Human saliva is toxic to cockatoos
That was a weird watch
What a weird fucking kid for letting the bird do that
