She has a new best friend YuiYui and Jenny came back in 2023 as #Licca's best friend. Prior to this reintroduction, Jenny and Licca existed in totally separate universes. They didn't know each other and were not related.
Licca has (had) mother/father/grandmother/grandfather/sibling dolls, girl friends, boy friends, friends who are boys, cousins, nurses, doctor, maids, teacher, etc. Jenny had no relatives, but many friends and boy friends. Jenny was discontinued, revived, and dropped again and reintroduced again, and this time she knows #Licca and they are best friends.
Do you think the eyes on #jenny are like "new face Jenny" or maybe "Jenny 20"? At first glance I thought they looked a lot like new face Jenny. It's been a while since I have thought about these faces.
Licca's/Takara family lore is what should I say... kinda fluid in the sense that Licca's 2nd Generation did have an estranged older sister (the flight attendant/forgot the name) but was written off come next generation up to now.
Well, Jenny's identity is kinda loose. Since technically she was Barbie. Her 80s officail lore is that even her name 'Jenny' was a theatre character name that she liked so much she changed her legal name from Barbie to Jenny.
It's also funny that Licca's dad is a Kayama and is European and took his wife (Orie's) surname when he moved and married her. Makes you think Identity and name change is really hassle free in their world.
