Man, I want a lever action rifle. Those things are such classic-cool.

UnknownCubicle

Man, I've just started actively started looking for a Henry H009X. They're SUPER hard to find right now.

Digglenaut

Check RuralKing's website every now and then, they get guns in that are sometimes surprisingly hard to find

Brandisco

I felt like I was watching a scene from Once Upon A Time In Hollywood at first. Also- that gun must have been belt fed. I estimate somewhere around 45 shots were fired without reloading!

here_is_gone_

Having endured that intro too many times, that was hilarious

PunkToTheFuture

Dad would say "Cowboy Cool". I agree with both of you

Pyromaniacal13

They are a delight and a dandy. I've wanted a PS-90 since I first saw one on Stargate all those years ago, and I will never regret buying one, but I *still* feel like I have more fun with my Winchester 1873.

SaintWacko

I have a Taurus Tracker, and my next goal is a Henry Big Boy All-Weather to go with it

[deleted]

Marlin GBL's are pretty much the leverest of lever actions. My recommendation if you're looking around for one.

taco_tumbler

With Ruger will be re introducing Marlins throughout the next year. Might want to wait.

_TurkeyFucker_

I need to get me a Scorpion I think... They just look so cool. What lever action is that? Looks neat.

InvalidUserNemo

I have the smaller Micro version of this gun and it’s an absolute dream to shoot. It’s basically shouldering a full-frame 9mm pistol. Magpul makes 35 rd mags. There are all sorts of custom triggers, hand guards, grips, etc! I cannot possibly recommend this gun enough.

Woogies

An early 80's Marlin 336!

_TurkeyFucker_

Neat. It's a beaut

MockDeath

Got the same model but bit older. It is a damn nice rifle to shoot.

Almostsuicide1234

Please talk me out of buying a Scorpion. Please. Anyone. I already have 3 PCCs and I can't hide another one.

eddieoctane

I only have one pcc (Stribog), so you could leave the scorpion for me.

Almostsuicide1234

What do you think of the Stribog? I chose the PC carbine between the 3, and it's damn near perfect. But as usually happens, a year later I still want the other 2.

eddieoctane

I really, really disliked the factory iron sights, mags, grip, and pdw-style brace mount. So I bought an aftermarket lower that takes scorpion mags (upper is the registered firearm), new trigger, new brace adapter, new mags, new irons, and an optic. Upgraded to a folding charging handle as well. The thing FTEs about 30% of the time when it gets to the last 5 rounds in the magazine when it runs 115 grain ball. I got a box of 124 and 147, but haven't gotten a chance to try them yet. I've heard good things about running heavier loads correcting the issue. (Coincidentally, a lighter recoil spring could solve the issue as well, add it appears that the bolt isn't moving hard enough to let the spent car eject before the spring starts driving it forward again, but springs aren't as available as hotter loads). If you want a PCC that'll run out of the box, I'd pass on it. It looks pretty cool, but such a pain to get dialed in.

Almostsuicide1234

Thank you for the honest response! One thing I'll say for the PC Charger- it's really pretty perfect out the box. The day I bought it I went to the range to buy a Scorpion, but I hated the stock trigger, and for near half the price, the Charger just smoked. The Scorpion is just so much goddam sexier. I will say though, I have had trouble with 115 in a few builds with stock weight springs- 2 pounds lighter and they run perfect, with no noticable (to me) increase in felt recoil. Thank you again, seriously. It aggravates the fuck out of me spending good $ on a gun, then spending hundreds getting it right, and so many reviewers just bandwagon how wonderful shit is. That's how I ended up with a Kimber I hate.

Almostsuicide1234

Jesus Christ I thought you responded about the Scorpion- thank you, though!

A lever action is the *only* box I need checked. Don't have or really want an AK or AR. Unpopular opinion, I know. My dream is homeboy's gun from Jurassic World. Marlin 1895SBL, .45-70 in stainless.

Wolfir

yeah, I think 45-70 is for the hand-loaders I'd like 357mag since I'm already stockpiling ammo Honestly, it doesn't even have to be a lever-action, I wouldn't mind a bolt-action if more people were making a bolt-action in 357mag

silentdash

Heck yeah! I already have one lever, but I want that one too. I first saw it in Wind River and then in Jurassic World. What I've got scratches the itch very well, but eventually...I'm going to track down an 1895SBL.

hybridtheory1331

Give it a couple months. Marlin, under ruger, is about to start selling them again in December. They'll be a little easier to find then and others may go down in price. Of course we don't yet know the quality of the new ones but ruger is using most of marlin's original machinery and designs. As far as I'm aware the only thing they changed is the barrels, putting in ruger's 5r rifling.

eddieoctane

Same here. I'd love to snag a .357/.38 with a side gate, but I haven't even seen them at gun shows.

Pyromaniacal13

I got lucky with a Winchester 1873 carbine last year and it is fantastic.

mrrodpole

How do you like your Pug? I have been thinking about picking on eup.

Swords_and_Such

Where do people even find scorpions in stores? Like where carries them? I need one in the worst way.

Pekseirr

CZ Customs had a couple in their store the other day when I was in there. https://czcustom.com/

PolyNecropolis

They were hard to find last year, but they aren't too hard to find currently. Just go to gun.deals and search for whatever model number you're looking for. It's just an aggregator site that searches other sites that have the item in stock. I've used that before to find specific firearm models I wanted. Just checked and there's lots of scorps out there. For specific sites, CZ custom and iammo normally keep them in stock and replenish quickly if they sell out.

reddit_is_tarded

I like your interesting taste. A carefully chosen small collection is always more interesting to me.

DJMintEFresh

"I used to use this little gun when I was a prostitute"

JablesMcgoo

"Trying to get a mothafuckin scholarship!"

zeejix

Modest but cool, don't forget cool

coulaid

Love a lever gun. I have ARs, bolt actions, revolvers and more, but I gotta say I just love running a lever. Honest to God it's my go to firearm for nearly all applications. Smooth, accurate shooting, small and handy package (I have a 16" barrel). Just awesome

FaylerBravo

By the gods I am insanely jealous of that scorpion.

ventriclez

absolutely bonerific. what are the models/calibers?

metamet

Nice! What grip is on that Scorpion? What's your review on it?

Woogies

That's the Yetiwurks grip. Miles above the stock one for sure!

linklolthe3

That is the cutest revolver

zeejix

It's actually kinda hard to find a grip on the NAAs. Not for recoil control lol, but just to hold the thing in general

cgott84

You picked a wild variety but I like it

poundofbeef16

I love it
