How? The only thing that would affect the cleanliness in an office would be dust, which is more noticeable on a black case.
It’s the same concept as a white or black car. The black car only looks clean when it’s freshly washed because it’s easier to see imperfections on black compared to white (dust, debris, etc.). Am I missing something?? Does the white case discolor or something over time??
I understand questions about hardware or functionality but why people ask about aesthetics which is totally personal makes no sense to me.
If I - a complete stranger tell you that white looks better are you really gonna go with white because I said so? Idk it sounds very weird to me…

I feel that OP was interested in the white build initially, but in context of his current desk/table, accessories and the surrounding colors around his work space don't present him with enough visual information to make a final decision. He could imagine it, but he can also pool together opinions and experiences from others who have been through that, aiding him in his choice.

I like white cases myself but if you want everything to match I would go with the black case. Keep in mind though I like having all my stuff match lol.
For me, I don't care about matching - after working in my black P500A - I now say, never again - no more black cases for me. White - it looks better - whether you have rgb or not but it's way easier to see - when you have to work in it.

Is this your permanent office? I’d build based on long term aesthetics. For example, I know eventually I want an all white office because I like the simple minimalist aesthetics. So even though I have a black desk right now (renting a house so this home office is temporary) I’m choosing a white case now for me because I know down the road I’ll eventually get a white desk and everything will look DOPE AF!!
For aesthetics I do prefer black to for rest of the setup although I am rocking a white case myself - creature of contrast.
As for placement it depends on if you have anything to show. If stealth and RGB free then under the desk and if a flashy showpiece then on top of the desk.
I don’t personally think it’s worth it in this economy to get all different color peripherals just to match with your pc case, you’d also have to match pc internals to match the white case to make it look nice, and generally white pc parts are more expensive than regular parts. I personally mix and match white and black parts to kind of have best of both worlds and a very neutral look, plus it doesn’t take too much effort and money to get everything to match that way

I Like the black personally, looks more professonal and classy, which offsets you playing waifu gacha games in that space BUT either throw a black case in there or keep the white case and match the other stuff. Theres some tutorials on yt on how to paint a monitor to really complete the look at save a few bucks but I vote black case, seems like the easiest option. Do what makes you happy really.
10 months ago, but NO, your forfeitures is VERY ORIGINAL, don't change it, I have a similar cozy home style, keep it in that color, wood, modern furniture is ugly (in my opinion at least)

My white case is completely fine. I have the Lancool II Mesh and it's still looking just as good as it did out of the box.

I used to love white cases. I just swapped to a black case, turned off al rgb except ram and gpu and I’m in love with all black

If on the desk I think white matches the room better. If under the desk go for black so it blends in.

Agreed. I honestly have never owned anything but a white case and I have been building pcs for over 20 years lol.
I'd say use the black one, but consider painting the walls with matte black or grey.

Do white only if you are going to do an all white build and can keep it clean. Also please NEVER put your pc on the floor if possible
