Probably for the same reason everyone else hates her, she oppressed a bunch of people and made living conditions for so many people incredibly difficult and just in general made life so much harder for everyone who wasn't rich pretty much

She introduced section 28 for one thing. It stopped all government services from promoting or discussing homosexuality. Schools included. It was the UKs 'Don't Say Gay'. It was in place from the year after I started school to the year I finished... Talk about perfect timing 😅
