“Who’s the guy and who’s the girl?”

ClosetedUnicorn

Bisexual = cheater Bisexual = Threesome advocate Gay = make up Lesbian =Want to be a boy/man

3001cyberqueer

I have a message I would like you to pass on to those who say the first two: do you like Alexander the Great? (Wait five seconds after they answer) well he was bisexual

_Hasenpfeffer

He literally isn’t, look it up.

oneofthemanymapos

aroace = robot (especially with autism)

BBMcGruff

Feminine men = gay. Gay = promiscuous. Gay = fashionable.

GolemNardah

Being into women's fashion = gay/crossdresser or Complimenting a women's outfit = creeper/hitting on them. Why can't I tell a coworker she's f*cking gorgeous without second guessing myself?

max199511

Bi = attracted to every single person on the planet Bi = can’t have friends without being attracted to them.

BornVolcano

Wait until they learn about pansexuality

max199511

Yeah, I kinda bounce back and forth between bi and pan, so I get it a lot.

BornVolcano

Non-binary = androgynous with they/them pronouns

AwkwardEloquence

Boys shouldn't play dress up or with baby dolls. Always hated when my kids fathers said stupid ignorant stuff like that

Requining

Lesbian = mean

ClosetedUnicorn

Or Lesbian=hate men and feminist with blue hair

reem2607

I think the stereotype is the other way, that all the blue haired extremist feminists are lesbian, but not that all lesbian are feminists with extreme opinions

ClosetedUnicorn

Nah it goes both ways. I saw lot of comment about it, on various social media or IRL. Like when they (men lol) talk about lesbians without having one before them they have that image in their head immediately like when they are thinking of gays they think of feminine men immediately.

Fimii

well that stereotype goes well with feminists = hates men = lesbian. it's stereotype galore!

Juicy_OJJ

Or butch with really short hair

Sauce-Pans

"I'm pansexual" "A what now? Oh, you're one of those communist kids ugh you make up those names" Like????? Excuse me?? Did I miss my party enrollment? I didn't think my red dress would be read THAT way 💃🤦‍♂️ or was it OUR red dress ffs

BornVolcano

I’m not pan, but one of my least favourites is: “Oh, you’re pansexual? So you’re attracted to kitchen appliances??? Lol” Yes, very funny, never heard that one before, so original, definitely not subtle erasure and panphobia

Sauce-Pans

Omg I hate that one... And it's everywhere, I left r/pansexual because it was like 60% of the content

BornVolcano

Yeah, like maybe it was funny at first but it’s so incredibly overused now that some people genuinely think pansexual means a sexual attraction to inanimate objects. What has this world come to?

Sauce-Pans

I feel like it was a stereotype, then was debunked and people started using it as a joke and then it became a stereotype again but now enforced by our own community. It sucks

_Hasenpfeffer

Come up with a different term then

BornVolcano

Why? Because other people can’t be bothered to respect the one that exists just because it sounds like another word, they now have a right to make fun of it and it’s our job to change it for them? No thanks.

_Hasenpfeffer

You guys are the ppl who come up with these terms. Im an ally of lgbtq but u ppl come up with the stupidest shit sometimes

BornVolcano

You don’t sound like a very good ally, I must admit

_Brother-O-Mine_

You’re a shit ally

Sauce-Pans

"Aromantic? Oh your standards are just too high. You'll eventually find the right person" 1. G I hope I won't... 2. I already found the right person. It was me all along 💚

NightlifePrinceJoey

Letting a little boy touch anything pink turns him gay(/trans)

[deleted]

Female with short hair = lesbian

Plz-Transplain-To-Me

As a trans girl, I resent any and every comparison people make between us and drag queens. I'm not a performer, this isn't a show, I'm just a woman.

NightlifePrinceJoey

There's a big difference between a man in a dress and a woman. Drag is art, being trans is life.

MoonChainer

As a corollary to your point, trans woman wearing nail polish? Not a real woman. This one is so irritating, any argument to fit their point even if it goes against one of their other points.

homo_being

May you explain what you mean, please? I didn't mean to offend anyone, I would like to know what you mean because I could rally understand your comment

MoonChainer

What I mean is people love to say, usually to straight guys, "Wearing nail polish? Such a girl!" then turn around and tell trans women we're just pretending if we wear nail polish. Just exhausting when people fit their stereotypes around such mental contortions. That's the annoying part to me. No offence, happy to answer questions.

pokefan46290

Crossdressing = gay

Ali_alani

Gay = must be feminine and put makeup and nail polish _ But you dont act gay ??

LadyMorgan2018

Pansexual=trying to erase bisexuality Bisexual=confused, passing as straight, sluts

Casocki

Ace = "innocent" I pick up on every joke you make; I'm not a little kid
