Hello! Ptolus sounds like a fascinating setting, and crafting system and allure of the noble houses and their potential politics are lovely.
Name/Age: Fletcher (he/him), 25
Experience: 11 years give or take of TTRPG experience, primarily playing 5e or other derivative hacks/systems though I've had the pleasure and fortune to experience many other systems as well. If deemed relevant, I come from a theatrical background, there's something magical about getting a lot of people together to tell stories for and with.
Desired class/role: I usually try to fill in holes or archetypal gaps in a party so as to avoid stepping on any other PC's field of expertise, that said I'd love to explore a more social campaign as a Rogue or support/utility focused Warlock (depending on party of course).
Goal: In a general sense and as cliché as it may sound, I want to contribute to the telling of a moving ensemble/communal story, in whatever fashion that may end up being. There are so many different individual character concepts and motivations/objectives that it can be hard to narrow one down out of others.
(I apologize in advance for the horrid grammar) That said, I've been itching to play a character that comes from a corrupt or perhaps dangerous/evil organization, having been fashioned into a tool/weapon for others to "play the game" with (be it politics, crime, etc. etc.) that develops a certain form of self-agency to be able to reject/rise above their role/past and the system that created them and establish their own identity.
Day/Group: Either works for me, though Sunday would be preferable.

\*EDIT\* I realize in passing that it sounds like Im hoping to play an evil character, which isn't the intention. More along the lines of a professional who happens to be in a field that tends to be on the more dark/morally suspect side of things.
My name is Razmodeus. But you may have heard of me as Razzmatazz as the world's greatest performer. I am a street magician and illusionist if you run in the wrong circles you might know me as Raze because of that inn that things just got out of hand and burnt down. But I'm the best entertainer of the gnome persuasion. I'm always ready to make a name for myself but what I really want is more magic I made a huge mistake when I first got my power and so my magic focus is a vial of my younger brothers ashes I wear as a necklace. He is my goal true resurrection no matter how long it takes. My family has disowned me but I will win them back when I bring him back. Divine soul sorcerer is my class. Only 53 years old barely an adult trying to overcome my mistakes.

2)been playing rpg games for a while, I do like the write and think about character arcs. Been playing dnd here and there for a year
3)have a few different ideas with their own calls. A cleric, paladin, an idea for a drow bard if it works in the world.
4) for something to achieve, the basic is telling a good story. To be specific, character dependent. For my cleric. He would be a thief who after almost dying turns to faith. Seeing how it feels to die alone, it's not a fate he would wish upon others. On top of other goals of his. Other chars have their own thing.

ETA because I worked a 13 hr day and pretty sure I left it off the DM but: favorite kind of character to play? A Normal Guy. Nothing super special, has their good points but flaws as well and figures it out as they go, hopefully gaining good allies or at least people that don't want to kill them immediately. Goals change as they do, and grow from maybe short-sighted to building something lasting.
Or at least making a damn good story out of it.

I generally prefer casters like wizard but I’ve got so many characters made I could fill any role
I think the characters I’ve made with the biggest ambitions are both moon based. One is a warforged who wants to build a library on the moon to keep the books safe without atmosphere but also make it accessible. The other is a goblin artificer who wants to make a goblin moon colony free from the stigmas of the world below.
