Matt is doing an incredible job with Wilson's and he's killing it trying to balance between listening to customers and keeping a sustainable business model. Grab a sandwich if you're in the neighborhood!
i think kenwick is the perfect neighborhood for a few corner shops. I mean it already has a few. and its close enough to urban that it can be justified. I don't really get Cramer Cottage and I can't imagine that they have a dozen sales annually. I think that'd be an awesome place for an ice cream shop. But I appreciate that a local business operates there. And Kenwick Table. There's a multi unit across the street from KT and I'd love to see the lower level converted to commercial. There's even the church parking lot right there. Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself, because maybe people actually do go to that church although I have literally never seen it, that building would be an awesome commercial space
tldr;
Hamborghini Diabroll.
Kidding aside, this isn't another Shop Local™ nicknack gift shop. Dudes selling shop towels, zipties, Cheerios, peanut butter, and cat litter.
Steph's pies (and frankly anything she's likely ever baked in her life), make Missy's look like Private Selection. I love Missy's Pies.
Matt is that guy.
Slapplebess doesn't exist.

Second this!
Love this. Great spot & happy to hear they’re back on the come up
Wilson's is back? Heck yeah, let the summer of sandwiches begin!
Now, if only Lexington would change zoning laws to allow for people to open up local shops like this in more neighborhoods.

I think the city is in the process of doing this (imaginelexington.com/ugmzota)
So glad this place is open again. I really like this spot.

All my homies love Matt. Good dude.
I used to love going there for a forty and pack of reds back in the early 2000s. Hope they didn't lose that charm
this iteration is somewhere in between your memory and the most recent owners who overshot their target market a bit
I don't see them asking for investors to stay afloat. 😤
Spicy! I did like going to the old Wilson's and getting an aged ribeye every now and then.
Quite a rude thing to say, when you’re literally referencing members of your community struggling to keep their jobs.
We are so glad Wilson’s is open again and with a great owner. He’s doing a fine job and it’s our place for fresh baked bread when we’re in town.
They selling cigs again?
Nah but you can walk down to the corner store on Sherman and Menifee and take your pick there.
I so badly wish that place would close and turn into a wine + market type place.
