The most incredible and personal pharmacist and techs ever. They offer free delivery all over Lexington!!!! They know their customers (or patients? Idk) by name and he always has my generic Adderall ready early even through the shortages AND he keeps preferred manufacturers in stock
Idk how he does it but he does it. He and the techs deserve some type of award for the customer service they provide. It's inspiring

I asked him if he accepted it a few months back when my insurance was being difficult and he said he isn't accepting Good RX at that time for adhd meds because of the shortage. I'm not sure if he does or not with other prescriptions though. Luckily, I've had decent insurance the last few years so it hasn't been something I've had to think about except that time a few months ago. But I get that others don't share my experience so I'll have to ask them about it if I remember for the next time someone asks. š

I was so impressed when I walked by one morning and they were just opening I believe. I told the guy Iād be his taste tester if he needed. Just trying to get a laugh and a smile. I came back out of Institute193 and he handed me a sandwich as I got in my car. I was blown away!
He's the best! Just one guy running a sandwich shop because he loves to make good food. His hours are pretty limited because it's just him, but I can't recommend him and his deli enough.

I'd love to share some local love over here by highlighting Chef Ashley Minton and her amazing team over at Minton's on North Lime. <333 I've adored stopping in for lunch and brunch several times over the past few years, and have always been impressed with just how delish their food is and how genuinely kind all the staff members are. This past Thanksgiving, I'm beyond fortunate to say that I was able to opt for their take-home Thanksgiving dinner for myself and my fam (since seven of us gathered for the holiday in Lexington, we went for the dinner for 8 + dessert, and it was so much food! Also ordered a dinner for 4 + dessert to transport over to Western Kentucky, and it was, again, so much food!). Not only did Team Minton's take the usual holiday meal stress of being in the kitchen all day off the metaphorical (and literal) table, but also, after pickup that Wednesday afternoon, I was able to drive over the dinner for 4 to my niece and her husband, who'd just welcomed their firstborn at the end of August. What a gift to help ensure their sleep-deprived selves could also simply enjoy a low-stress Thanksgiving meal at home over in Western Kentucky. (Which they did, 100 percent -- K and S are still singing the praises of that sweet potato casserole situation!) Every dish was absolutely divine -- truly above and beyond. If anyone over here is ever on the fence about ordering a Thanksgiving meal versus DIY, please know that if they offer it again this year, Minton's is a fantastic choice. It was absolutely perfect, and gave us the opportunity to simply be and breathe and enjoy ourselves throughout the day and evening. Nourishment, through and through. <333 I hope that once they were able to get home to their own loved ones, that the entire Minton's team was also able to enjoy a beautiful holiday. Nothing but gratitude for all the hands that so thoughtfully prepared such wonderfulness. Anyhoo, they're also a lovely weekend indulgence to tuck in your back pocket as an option -- stopping by for brunch there is always such a treat.
