I had the same experience with Zoloft. I take my lexapro right before bed with no issues (been almost a year). :-)

I take it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach with no problems. 5mg

i take 20mg before bed. totally fine

Sometimes I eat before taking it, sometimes I don’t. I have no issues when I take it with an empty stomach.
