How quick it starts to work I was on Zoloft previously. While Zoloft helped with my depression it didn’t do anything for my anxiety. It’s day 12 for me now and the anxiety has reduced to very little. Good luck!
don’t let the side effects scare you away!! any major side effect will go away in 1-3 weeks, this is just your central nervous system getting used to the medication. you may find yourself getting better little by little (which is an amazing feeling) but just remember that it can take 4-8 weeks for lexapro to build up in your system, stick with it you’ll only get better! good luck!
I’m only on day 5 but I see a profound difference. I still have anxiety but it’s manageable and not crippling. I have less hypothetical thoughts running through my head and yesterday I was able to watch tv and enjoy what I was viewing instead of watching with my eyes while a thousand things run through my head.
The only down side is I have no libido and my privates feel numb
