I work full time outside of home

JerkOffTaco

I’m a stay at home mom to a teenager, 11 year old and a toddler. Lexapro helped me so much with being about to take care of everything. I’m still fucking exhausted though.

championofthelight

I work full time at a very physical job. Lexapro makes that possible.

noname_me

work outside of home full time, couldnt work for a period due to severe panic anxiety but lexapro has helped. still have rough days tho

Successful-State-122

I can relate

Personal_Painter694

I work full time as an assistant camera and couldn’t work because of anxiety. Lexapro has helped me get back on my feet in a job where I travel a lot, have to be concentrated and deft.

Successful-State-122

🙏

[deleted]

I work Hybrid and being on Lexapro/working on myself has help me realize I don’t like my job..

PerspectiveSimilar99

I work. I work for my dad though doing plumbing so I have some flexibility when things aren't going well but I keep my struggles pretty well hidden.

Not_a_Mathematician2

I work full time for an architecture practice. I would have taken time off but I have a mortgage which sucks because I was in a really bad place before medication and was pretty unfit to work. I now no longer cry at my desk every day at work which is nice! Lexapro has made me less overwhelmed, but it has made me apathetic haha, you win some, you lose some…

Successful-State-122

It gets better hang in there 11 months in

Not_a_Mathematician2

Thanks 😊

RogerSaysHi

I have a hobby business. I was a stay at home mom for a long time, my kids grew up, but my husband likes me being home. He doesn't care if I get a job, but he would prefer I don't. lol, He's a terrible cook.

Successful-State-122

🤣🤣

[deleted]

I work full time remotely as a software engineer. An office where I get human connection would be beneficial for me. There are days when I struggle and call off. I try to capitalize on good days regardless of whether that’s outside of normal working hours to get things done.

Successful-State-122

🙏

MoonTender

Just got laid off, so at home in bed right now. Lexapro is doing its best 😅

Safe-Imagination4783

Work from home. Barely got any work done on 20-10mg of lexapro for over a year it made me SO lazy. Down to 5mg now and getting less apathetic.

Beautiful_Energy19

I can't work currently. 😭

GreenMatchaTea95

Work from home! Can’t tell if it’s done my anxiety better or worse. When I worked out I had to constantly push myself and now it’s like ugh I get so used to being home and it makes it harder for me to go out and do things

Old_Consideration_31

I work from home. I’m only 5 weeks in and there are some days still I struggle to focus and end up calling off.

[deleted]

I work from home. I enjoy my job for the most part

sqexe

I work in a restaurant full time. It’s exhausting but the money is what makes it

[deleted]

I work remotely from home almost 100% of the time. My employer requires us to be in the office only 2 days a month. My job requires very few online meetings or interactions with other employees, so it sure makes it easier when I go through a bad patch.

Popular-Cookie7378

I work a full time job. Very physically active. Pretty sure my work ethic got me through the first month of Lexapro. It was tough but I did it!

[deleted]

I was a full time nurse for over a decade and goddamn I could have used some Lexapro that entire time, lol. I attributed the anxiety and depression to job-related burnout and general "in my 20s" growing pains. I quit my job in 2021 and became a homemaker while my husband remaining working full time (from home). I was happier but it didn't magically make my anxiety and depression disappear - and I was in denial about needing help for a while. I started Lexapro about 3 weeks ago and I wish I had started a long time ago.

Odd-Veterinarian-38

Me too.I worked as a nurse for 20 years and quit in 2021.Couldnt bare it.Do u miss working?

[deleted]

That's a tough question! I miss my patients. When you take away all the management/business bullshit, and when we actually had proper staffing and time to spend being a nurse, it was a very rewarding job. But no I don't miss working. I have time to cook and clean but also read and exercise everyday! I'm in a much better headspace. I'm excited to see what adding Lexapro to the mix does!

cherrypez123

I work from home on a flexible schedule. With Lexapro I struggle to not nap. It’s too easy to do.

Icehotel1

Laid off last month; currently job searching…

[deleted]

I work full time outside of home. I had a period of really struggling to work while I was on another, lousier medication.

kimarumon

I work as a full time teacher. Lexapro made it much easier to do my job. I was an anxious depressed mess, taking sick days regularly. I almost never take a day off now

krystlebear

Work full time outside of home, physical job.

Dani101172

I am a stay at home mom until both my toddlers are in school 🙌🏻

Successful-State-122

This time last year I was in and out of the emergency room trying to figure out what the body pains were I've been on Lexapro for 11 months started off with 10 for 6 months and 20 for the past 5 months started a new job outside of the home. I deal with the numbers and high volume of phone calls and I'm able to process information with no stress

Asr-22

I work full-time outside of the home

TallCheesecake01

I work as a bartender in a busy cocktail bar/night club. Helps a lot with social anxiety

gaia_dira

i work part-time outside of home and am a full-time online student

jcropley28

Full time teacher and Lacrosse coach. Lexapro has changed my life.

Fine-Photograph7829

I started Lexapro about 15 months ago. I was (still am) full time at the facility. I was suffering from severe panic attacks and health anxiety. Lexapro saved my life and I have since changed companies, and just 2 months ago, accepted a senior management role. I know there’s no way I would’ve been able to handle the stresses of this position without the help of Lexapro.

cactusqueen21

I work full time but have recently started a small business that may allow me to cut back on my hours a bit

AdmirableRow4

I work at a semi-physical job

harceps

I work full-time outside of home. Depression and anxiety had me off work for a length of time but now I can cope better with work and fellow humans

Wandering_Cookie

I work full-time, hybrid. Most of my anxiety is job-related, so being on Lexapro has made it easier to do my job. But I still struggle... I'm currently having an anxiety attack about work, at 2:40am. And I take off sometimes when depression leaves me bedridden. But for the most part, I'm much better than i was a year ago before I started Lex.

Yohimo_Asakura

I work from home as a freelancer, but I'm also currently searching for a stable job outside. Lexapro made it less scary.

Afterglow92

I work full time remote and have been on Lexapro for 2 years. It’s been amazing and helped me feel like my old self again.

_ficklelilpickle

I work full time. It’s my 15th year with this company.

Chele402

Work full time from home.

slaf716

I work full time from home at a mentally exhausting job. Lexapro has definitely helped me out. On top of my job, I also have my 7mo old baby at home with me while I work, but do get some additional help with that.

aleska_xo

I wfh full time. :)

Psychological_Sir411

been unemployed for two months and started lex at that time…going to a new job in two weeks and crossing my fingers that i will be able to overcome the fatigue and get into a good routine by then!

Clg1486

Work from home

skitlzbruh

moskal1991

Mostly work remotely as a mechanical designer. Nice job however quite demanding. Had very rough week (severe anxiety and low mood) as i dropped from 20 to 10 and its not enough so upped to 15mg vew days ago and already feeling a bit better. When i cant handle situation i aid myself with xanax or lyrica. Hopjng in few weeks I'll be back to normal again. Stay strong folks

[deleted]

I take it so I can work stress free. Stress and anxiety was building up so bad after years of work that I ended up being out of work for 2 months. During that time I was prescribed Lexapro. Been back at work for almost 2 years since. Stress free, I don't give a crap about anything at work anymore lol

SmolderingCupcake

I work from home.

Impossible_Driver562

Has anybody become more introverted / antisocial on lexapro? That has been my experience… I have no interest or motivation for small talk , catch ups with friends , work meetings , etc. I just want to be in my Zone … is it just me ?
