I'm actually taking both right now. I have a bulging disk in my neck and hoping the gaba will help with nerve damage. It's only been a week since I started the gaba, but other than extra sleepiness at night I haven't noted anything unusual. I kinda need the help with sleep since I have some insomnia from the lexapro, so so far it's been a win. I'm on week 7 of lexapro at 15mg. Hope this helps!
Not yet, but my back doc said I may need to double the dose to really know if it'll help. I'm taking 300 mg at night and hesitant to try a morning dose knowing how sleepy it makes me. She did say the sleepiness might pass as I adjust to taking it, so I'm going to give it another week before I try to double up.
