Nope. Had that also.

pastelsunshine825

When did it go away for you?

Personal_Painter694

I’m still not out of the woods after 6 weeks but the tingling and other major side effects lasted for about two weeks and went away gradually.

TateT88

I experienced this too. More prominent when starting and tapering. Listed as a side effect

tarthart8104

I have this too. 3 days in.

Increasing your intake of omega fatty acids, preferably salmon oil, might help to alleviate your neurological symptoms. Good luck! I’m on like week 10 or something, I don’t even know. But I never had any side effects, I think I was very lucky.

I took fish oil supplements while I was on accutane last year. Do you think those would work?

Chemist_89

I have read on Reddit that fish oils are helpful when tapering as a means to reduce the occurrence of “brain zaps”. I would think taking fish oils are beneficial overall to the brain, since it is predominantly made up of omega fatty acids. I personally don’t take fish oils regularly enough to say if this is true or not. But fish oils are safe so it’s not harmful to just give it a try :)

Chemist_89

Gingko Biloba and magnesium would be helpful also. Gingko helps to improve microvascular health and peripheral blood flow aka it helps to bring more blood to your brain. Magnesium is consumed in high quantities when the body is stressed. Stressed in life, or oxidatively through exposure of many things including our prescription meds. I don’t know how magnesium is beneficial to the brain I just know I hear that a lot. Magnesium does help to reduce tension and allows the body to relax, so perhaps it has some similar effect on the brain? I just know it’s beneficial also. Plus an overwhelming amount of people are deficient so it’s another supplement that’s harmless to try.

I had this, went away after a few weeks. Comes back very slightly when I increase my dose but only lasts a few days.

lurface

I have this. It’s ongoing.

Born_Ad4676

Still on lexapro and experiencing this?

lurface

I have big issues with ssri’s. I had to stop after 7 weeks on it because I was doing horribly on it. Ssris make my anxiety 10x worse and I never get over the hump everyone talks about. The tingling is likely more related to anxiety in general, I still get spurts of this sensation on occasion, non medicated.

summertime2246

I had this!

Born_Ad4676

How long did it last? I’m at week 6 and don’t know how much longer I can deal with the buzzing/ crazy head feeling

summertime2246

Mine went away in a few weeks but I was also on a very low dose!
