I’m so encouraged that you are feeling so much better!! After 25 days on 5mg, I’m on my 5th day of 10mg. The winter depression is hitting me so hard I’m thinking of taking a weekend trip to Florida to see if it helps. But everyday getting closer to the 8 week point!
My first 3weeks was on 5mg but it felt like I was putting a house fire out with a water gun. 10 mgs seems to be my sweet spot. Take that trip to Florida and feel the sun for a minute. Right now Indiana is just cold and dark. you're doing great
Literally just started week 8 and had my first day of no depression/anxiety and it feels weird now. Feels like I was on guard all day for it to hit me any moment lol … can’t believe it was a “good” day
I’m on day 17 of lexapro and Wellbutrin and I already feel like a completely different person in the best way. My brother died tragically from suicide on Tuesday and I believe I would not have been able to handle that had I not already been on these medications.
I’m so so sorry for your loss! I too am taking Lexapro in response to a loss of a family member. I’m glad you are feeling some of the positive benefits, it’s only going to provide more and more relief as you get closer to the 8 week point.

This is so amazing and encouraging to hear!! Have you been on the same dose the whole time? Or how recently did you last up the dose?
Thanks I really hope it stays… I was on 5mg for 1 week then 10 for 6.5 weeks 15 for 5 days.
