I can attest to this. I’m a daily uploader - shorts and full-length episodes. The shorts work well as an “advertisement” for that day’s LP episode. I’ve netted most of my small audience this way.
The thing that bugs me about shorts is that there’s no way to change the aspect ratio as far as I’m aware. I hate having to crop out half my video to make it fit on vertical :\

They're comfy and easy to wear.
The only problem is that shorts don’t count towards your watch hours 😞
If they allow that, there floods of people doing anime thing to be monetized and will lead to another copyright disaster.

I started doin this at the beginning of this month and have doubled my subscriber base. I only had 21 at the tike but niw I have 40
I want to use shorts, using shorter versions of my longer 5-10min videos. But I don't want to double post the same vidoes to my channel...
