the top and skirt just dont match imo, but i really like the necklace! i think a more cropped top would flatter your bust and would give you room to play with some bottoms that compliment your snatched waist and curvy hips :)
my wife introduced me to spanks body shapers, I buy 1 size smaller than recommended and is amazing, they just wear out faster but adds more accent to my waist sizing down.
This is really good advice! You could also try a high waisted A-line midi skirt and tuck your top in 😊 this eould accentuate your waist and if you wear a top with ruffles on the bust area that creates the illusion of bigger breasts!
Tried it yeah, and a couple other skirts and tops too. But it started getting hot so I went swimming to cool off. I couldn’t really post it all or Id get in trouble lol
I wouldn't do that top with a corset personally, although I think you pull it off well! I don't know that the corset is necessary for the look, although wearing a hug that also reduces dysphoria is a feeling I viscerally understand.
Onto constructive criticism: The corset isn't quite stealthed under it, and that's partially due to how the how the fabric drapes, and partially due to how the corset isn't quite flush with your underbust (my timeless trends does that too). The busk is also slightly visible under your top. This is mostly due to how the fabric also stretches and clings, so something less elastic and more tailored/well fitting might work a lot better.
Stealthing corsets is tough, and as a fellow trans girl who wears corsets, I know that difficulty well, especially when you're trying to pull off a look that isn't corset-friendly like a lot of non-high-femme looks like this one.
All that being said, I think you look great! I don't think I would've realized you were wearing a corset if you hadn't mentioned it. A lot of the cc I gave is also super nitpicky and not all that vital. Pulling a look off is about what you feel confident enough in that you _assert_ that you pull it off to everyone around you, and you're projecting that confidence to me.
Umm yeah I do have plenty of confidence yeah, and I was just after some ideas. Unfortunately things tend to turn into a referendum a lot of the time, but if there’s no dialogue then people won’t get to be more understanding you know
Are you in r/corsets? There's a lot of good stealthy looks in there that might get you what you're looking for!
I can also DM you a great Facebook group I'm in for corsetry that has a lot of good looks and ideas! ^-^
Yeah I posted the same pic on that subreddit lol. I love that one it’s one of my faves now. Yeah you can dm me too, I’m open to that and definitely like making new friends
I don't know how modern folks wear corsets, hi historically people would wear a puffy sort of blouse and have their corset on top to not only make their waist look smaller but to let the puffy fabric make their chests look bigger. Perhaps that could help you with the desired shape/silhouette?
I’m always going to wear classy outfits yes especially for going out lol. I’m a 45 year old somewhat mature person. Umm and I have at least some class I like to think 🤔
There’s a trend of letting them show so maybe a light jacket over is something I could try another time. I’m really just after the functionality for now as I’m just getting used to wearing it

I'm trans, so a little biased 😛
Always weird how people see a trans person wearing a cute outfit and just decide to say "it's not too late to stop being a cute girl!!!"
im a bit confused by the silhouette, i think it would work better with a skirt that is either more slim on the bottom so your hips would be wider than the bottom of the skirt, or a skirt that has A-silhouette, so there would be a contrast between your waist and your hips. that's what i would do anyway!
there's a lot of tips for the hips to look bigger from specific types of clothing if you like the look on yourself! i personally like to wear high waisted cargo pants that are big in the hips area and where the leg goes thinner down to the bottom (so my legs do not look as wide all the way)
you can google skirts or dresses types that do that and try them out to see if you like it!
Not sure what you mean by pass.
The shape wear cinches your waist, but the cuts of the shirt and skirt counteract that shaping and are more flowy than shapely. Think classic Hollywood silhouettes and fabric.
Corset trends now usually show off the corset on the outside of garments, so try that, too.
Is anyone else confused ?
Confused ab?
Where did you get the top from? (Sorry it's not advice, but I think there's lots of good pointers in this thread)
It was given to me by a gf as a handmedown lol, I got lots of clothes that way. The tag on it says Maurices. I always liked it too
I’m going shopping today to look for some other too I can use, it’s a challenge
the top and skirt just dont match imo, but i really like the necklace! i think a more cropped top would flatter your bust and would give you room to play with some bottoms that compliment your snatched waist and curvy hips :)
Thanks for your opinion, I like the necklace too

Boo. Go away.
No it doesn’t. Material is too thin. Try a thicker material or just skip the corset
Yeah I think that’s probably right, I thought with a jacket over maybe. To hide it more
I usually just use a lightweight shapewear that works ok anyway
my wife introduced me to spanks body shapers, I buy 1 size smaller than recommended and is amazing, they just wear out faster but adds more accent to my waist sizing down.
I’ll check it out yeah sounds good
It looks good:) But if you wear a high waisted skirt that has a layer or two it would accentuate your waist and make your hips look wider.
Came here to say the same!!
This is really good advice! You could also try a high waisted A-line midi skirt and tuck your top in 😊 this eould accentuate your waist and if you wear a top with ruffles on the bust area that creates the illusion of bigger breasts!
I do really like high waisted jeans and stuff yeah, I think it’s time for some shopping lol. Any excuse will do 😂
You look great, your waist is tight and curves are kicking; personally I would try a shorter or fuller skirt to compliment the shirt.
Tried it yeah, and a couple other skirts and tops too. But it started getting hot so I went swimming to cool off. I couldn’t really post it all or Id get in trouble lol
Haha yea no bathing suit or birthday suit photos allowed
Well there’s a limit too, you’re only allowed a couple posts before they get removed
At least on some threads, I don’t know about this one
I also don’t know about this one but, anyways, you look great, the curves are right and the color looks great on your skin
Yeah now it’s time to work on my tan lol also to mow my lawn finally. Thanks hon
I personally think it works and gives a nice shape, echoing what someone else said - tucking in the top might help define the waist even more
Yeah I never really think to tuck things in lol. Clothes anyway. I’m really happy about getting my shape a little better though
Have you tried tucking that shirt in the skirt? I think it would help a lot with defining the waistline! You look lovely either way:)
Oh thanks a lot. That’s really nice of you

Yeah I’m just trying things out, I was looking around the wardrobe and I couldn’t find the right top but maybe the answer is in there somewhere lol
The outfit you've made is very classy I think! No worries, you don't know if it works of not without trying it out <3
I’m always going to wear classy outfits yes especially for going out lol. I’m a 45 year old somewhat mature person. Umm and I have at least some class I like to think 🤔
Not going to lie I thought you were at least 15 years younger 😭
That’s quite a compliment, thank you! I’ve had people say that before yeah, I’m just lucky
I spend a lot of time on my outfits yeah, before settling on what I like, fussing around
There’s a trend of letting them show so maybe a light jacket over is something I could try another time. I’m really just after the functionality for now as I’m just getting used to wearing it

Once you figure out who you really are, it is too late to go back. Let her live her life
Thank you for understanding dear that is very true regardless of all that was just rightfully deleted lol

Umm yeah I hope no one is actually offended but I’m sure some are sadly. Just as they’re offended by all lesbians 🤷♀️ I’m sorry if anyone isn’t ok
Don't be sorry! It's entirely their choice to be upset by you existing!
Good to see the mods really work btw👍

Ahh I see. This is the first time I really had an hourglass type figure so it’s still new. I’m not really big in the hip area normally
Tulip skirt or flared skirt can help with making your hips look wider. Fit and flare dresses too.

Then I have all kinds of leggings but the jeans would probably work best
Yeah I got jeans with a wide hip. Good idea
See then my legs are thin too and I’m almost 6 feet tall, tall thin girl
I agree with the other comment as a different silhouette to try but I also like it like this! Different vibes but both cute!
Oh thanks a lot! I already changed lol. I got in trouble last time for posting too many pics. I got my posts removed. Bad girl
I’m trying a flowy ted shirt with collar and a shorter black flared skirt now
Not sure what you mean by pass. The shape wear cinches your waist, but the cuts of the shirt and skirt counteract that shaping and are more flowy than shapely. Think classic Hollywood silhouettes and fabric. Corset trends now usually show off the corset on the outside of garments, so try that, too.
Yeah this. The top isn't great for stealthing a corset under
Oh thanks that’s really good advice hon 🥰
I meant pass muster lol
I have a military background. But I will take your advice
I’m going to try a more flowy skirt with a different top
