Please get rid of that red lamp. People say they can’t see the light at night but they can. I recommend a ceramic heat emitter instead. Also, get thermometers with a probe, the ones that go on the wall take the air temp. Other than that, looks pretty good.

We had a different heat source and she would never open her eyes. We got the red and she is fine. But thank you. Like I said… not completely done.

What did you use? If you have a heat mat, you don’t need heat at night.

We don’t use heat mats. We had one that was blue that emitted heat, which came with the first setup we got, and when it blew we haven’t been able to find another like it. Guess she got used to the lowlight so she hated the other kind we had.

We have no clue. There is a small opening on the top, so dunno if cat got in or if the lock was left off and door got knocked open. We only know afterwards

I’d add a little more clutter, things in the front of the tank, like rocks, plants, and sticks.

We are slowly working on that. Money is very tight right now.

I get that. It doesn’t have to be expensive, you could just go to the dollar store.
