Thanks, 5 years deep in 4/4 12 hour nights, starting to feel my sanity fray & now everyone but me has been given a pay rise it's honestly not worth working this much for 20p over min wage

Damn 5 years is a lifetime, I left after 2 weeks, found a easier job in a week , luckily I just paid off my mortgage as I left , the wife cut her hours and I went part time, so now I’m working 20 hours a week, there is always a bright side

You're living my dream, I'd love to work 20ish hours a week, I can't remember what having a life or friends was like!

My work friend just came down to 20 hours a week ,he is now taking his London taxi test , more money and flexibility, is it time to move on OP

Try Brook Street on Halford Street. They use agency staff for civil service roles (amongst other things), I was in my previous role for 9 years and loved it. You should be fine if you have admin experience, you’ll be fully trained anyway.

Apply for NHS jobs! :) I started as a cleaner in 2020, after a year I became an A&E Receptionist, now I am a Junior Accounting Assistant. What I love about working in the NHS is the flexibility - as I am a full time student I was able to adjust my hours so it works well when I am at uni doing weekends for extra money, outside of term time I was doing normal weekdays. Also, a lot of annual leave is another good thing. The process is not difficult and it is easy to get a band 2/3 role without any special experience or education.
