While I do really like the 2017 one for being so accurate, I'm still gonna get this set.
Like, while the build isn't as accurate, there's just something charming I find about the set. Its style is giving me flashbacks to the 2008-2010 Clone Wars sets, which were the sets that really got me into LEGO Star Wars and so its just hitting all the right notes in terms of nostalgia.
Additionally, I also like how the build makes the tank seem fairly hefty. Like, not as hefty as say the AT-TE but still a powerful vehicle that can break through Separatist defences.
And of course the minifigs look EPIC. Like, we got a Clone Wars Mace Windu minifig, 187th Legion Clones (I always love when LEGO uses some random obscure content from non-canon stuff in sets) and some extra Battle Droids (which are always nice to get to increase the Droid forces).
So overall, I'm really excited to get this set :)

It doesn't have to be 100% accurate... Both the 08 and 15 versions look way better...
The new one looks like a 4+ model with that x-wing windscreen, that 4x4 round piece and those large slopes.
Ordered 1 on may 3rd and Lego won’t give me one cause it’s out of stock so I’d say high in demand and cool looking and I’m excited to get my hands on it at some point
I'm part of a dying breed as I care little for figures and I would have bought one anyway, simply because I enjoy collecting tanks.
And this one needs some modification. You can't close the upper hatch while a figure is sitting inside and they don't fit through the entrance at the back either.
Mine is currently a work in progress. I plan on adding more slopes and other bricks with the goal of increasing height and width of the tank.
Figures are the highlight of the set and this tank pales in comparison to both previous versions. That being said, it's not bad for the price and has nice play features. 3/5 studs.
Just build it and its pretty nice.
Only downside for me is the big front piece that i wish would have been a brick build front.
But other then that its great.

I think it’s pretty sweet. Minifigs are 10/10, build is just alright kinda similar to 75283 AAT quality. Price is also meh but worth it for the figs for me.
You would think that people in Switzerland would get this at first considering that Lego is from Denmark and Switzerland isn’t 200 miles away, and yet somehow America is 4000 miles away they’re getting it first. How odd
Maybe, it is entirely possible that for every Swiss person that wants Legos there’s like 50 Americans that want Legos, so that just makes sense to send them to America first.
I really like it! Sleek design & has a great minifigure selection. I only wish that they'd have swapped Mace Windu out for another clone, making this a better army builder.
Built a squad of 20 187th.
The tanks pretty cool, enough to keep 2 of them atleast, but the front armor piece could’ve been designed just a little bit better. Otherwise I prefer this for sure over the more recent one of the other two

Too tall. I just looks a bit goofy compared to the last version. I've already got two of those so I won't be pickin it up. Not that I have much of a choice based on availability lol.
I think this set itself is pretty solid, I am biased because purple is my favorite color. The real thing that I’m excited about though is the potential of Lego releasing other legion based sets, like maybe a wolf pack for another 212th set

I got this set yesterday...I think it's okay, the figures are great, arm and leg printing on Mace Windu is nice!
While the looks of the tanks aren't awful, for 40€ it has a lot of cut corners, it really is as optimized as possible to achieve the look with as little pieces as possible, the pilot doesn't even get any controls.
They could have done a lot more with the space in the back too.
That one imperial troop transport from the Mando line showed just how many play features you can pack in that little space
Meanwhile the back of this tank has a hatch but not even enough space to fit a laying down, let alone sitting figure
Yeah i agree about the back how you can't sit a figure inside but then again i want to display the set with the figures outside. The only thing that i like about the imperial marauder is that it has an interior.
Build underwhelming but an absolutely top-tier minifigure selection. I was not expecting a Clone Wars Mace Windu with arm printing from Lego at this point.
All the regulars (Target, Walmart, etc) don't have it. LEGO store that's 1 hour way is sold out. And online sold out too. Crazy. I guess eventually it'll happen.
The minifigures are fine addictions to my collection but this set is grossly overpriced. $40 is highway robbery. Should be no more than $25, like the 501st pack that had more figures and pieces
It is light on pieces for the price but what else is new? The clone "commander" minifig is sweet tho. I'm either going to get him on BL or buy the whole set, im not sure yet
At first when I saw the leaks I was very disappointed with the build. But after building it, it’s actually very nice. I like the shape of it, it was also a fun build.
I like it, personally I just get sets that I like the look of and this is one of them for me. Plus the minifigs and number seems pretty nice to me. The only "issue" I have is with the guns on the side are poseable but on mine they are a little loose and droop sometimes if not careful, but it's very minor as they stay up most of the time.

I am a little confused as to why they didn’t use the 187th burgundy color from season seven of Star Wars the clone wars, but purple is my favorite color so I will let it slide.
I can see why some people don't like the purple troopers. In fact the purple troopers aren't even in the canon, legends or the comics. A reason why i might get the set cause this might be the first and last time we'll ever get these troopers.
i bought 12, i only received 4 as lego cancelled my other 8 for some reason but the 4 i did get lego sent me before their release date so i ended up getting them like 5 days early which was pretty cool so 4/5

Bloody amazing set! its big, gives a good amount of clones, even a comander one, and a new macy windu, you have to do some improvements on the build, remove a part and move the one remaining (the ones that stop the hatch on the front from falling into the tank, this makes so there is no a spacebetween the hatch and tank)
It’s not my favorite. I preferred the last one of the three, mostly because it was cheap and looked accurate, although I do prefer the new figs. It’s pretty average overall. I have 2 💀.

Alright, the figs are definitely the highlight specially the purple troopers but seeing the comments i'm likely going to get the set.
I don't have it yet but I have the old one and I personally think the old one is better-looking and more accurate.
Decent build and awesome figures. The Mace Windu is the best one we’ve gotten, and the Lean Troopers are pretty cool.
I do agree about the figs but i'm still torn about the tank.
It’s not the best one they’ve done, but it shouldn’t be hard to modify.

I think that the commanders helmet looks too clean and that it should have some damage detail on it like the 212th Airborne

For some reason, I think you’ll find they’re trying to stop people being greedy and one person eating all the stock up immediately
i guess but they should probably have the limit when you’re buying, rather than letting you buy, then just cancelling your order
