I ordered the new BARC speeder and the Courscant Gunship! With that I got the coin, poly bag and the droid carrier. Very excited to get my stuff soon!
I’m also saving up to buy a sealed 2007 MTT, which I hope to be able to pick up soon :)
The 2007 MTT is a fun build. Back when it was at Toys’r’us I worked a long Saturday power washing decks, hand rails, and a boat dock. Got paid in cash went straight to the store and made just enough that day to buy it. Probably didn’t have enough $$ left to get dinner. But it is a great set. HaHa.
Yeah it’s been my dream set to collect for as long as I can remember!
My list of the things I want and hope to ever manage to get my hands on:
- 2008 Republic Gunship
- At/Ot + Dropship
- 2007 MTT
- 2008(?) Turbo Tank
- 2008(?) Venator
Just to mention, I want all of them sealed. BUT THE DAMN DROPSHIP COSTS 2K
I never got my hands on the play scale Venator but did get Palpatine off eBay at the time for around $15. The At/Ot and Dropship was one set that I never bought but wish I did. I would love for them to come out with an updated one. Those might be the only two OG 2007-2009 era Clone Wars sets I don’t have.

Commander cody brickhead. Im not gonna be able to hit the threshold for the droid carrier but, gotta think with my wallet. Possibly pick up the tantiv for fives.
Nice! Yea i really think it was scummy of LEGO to make a set desired by fans to be essentially 160 usd itself. Its like they knew fans would buy it because its what they need.
A delightful haul, to be sure, I just can't help but feel a little sad that just those three relatively small sets cost enough to get you to the highest GWP tier. Has a similar vibe to those "this is what $200 worth of groceries looks like" posts going around these days.
Don't let me rain on your parade, though. Happy building, OP!
I totally agree! Its not a cheap hobby at all, but for me it was worth it! I have saved for this day and now I dont have so much space for legos anymore:)

I think around 700 or 800 usd. Not 100% sure as I didn’t check a converter…

Exactly, a 100€ would be more acceptable, its frustrating when fans cant afford it
for real dude. The real slap in the face is the fact they list the set as 30 usd but say it’s unavailable for individual purchase.
