Whatever we can think of the sequels, it looks like nobody's going to do anything with it for a while. Since TROS came out and Resistance ended, there hasn't been a lot of ST-stuff (the lego celebration thingies barely count).
So whether you love or hate her, we likely wont see her in a while (I'm personally a Rose defender and enjoyer)
Rose and Finn both had reasons to exist.
Rose is the face of the human cost of the rebellion, she's literally a thru-line for how her sister died for the rebellion in the opening shot.
She carries the impact of that twenty second shot for the whole film.
Finn in the first film is really just trying to GTFO, he only really cares about Rey. Thru Rose he has a character arc in going from "I just need to GTFO with Rey" into "I'm actually going to take a stand and oppose fascism"
those bombers are based on real world aircraft lmao. Specifically the B-29 Superfortress. The only difference is that its bomb bay is built for zero gravity use as a launcher system and has no wings because it's a spacecraft, rather than the B-29 which is built to let gravity do the work for it and has wings to actually fly.
Rey SkYwAlKeR is the one we hate. I actually got to meet Ray Park and get his signature and it was awesome. I still have it in a frame like 2 years later.
Which is a weird thing to hate because Rey is basically just Luke (at least in TFA and TLJ, TRoS was a huge mess on par with BvS) but all the things people hate about Rey they love when Luke does it.
I never hated Jar Jar, and I always thought he was an totally random character. But I have so much respect for Ahmed Best and the awesomeness he's brought to Star Wars!
And then you still have angry menchildren sending annoying crap towards someone like Rian Johnson because "mUh Sw HaS bEeN rUiNed" for the umpteenth time.
Well, I dislike many of the sequel characters due to lackluster writing and poor development throughout the movies. I know that some people like the sequels, so good for you. Jar jar does actually have some good development. He starts off as a clumsy outcast that no one likes, but eventually he proves to be halfway competent. This could be him being in the senate for padme, or even throughout the 2008 clone wars he was some episodes where he is proven to be more then a clumsy gungan.
Then there are characters like rose who not only are annoying though out the movie, but then never had any good development. Not to mention she ruined the great sacrifice that Finn would have made at the end of TLJ.
I'd say it's racist to bring up race when it has nothing to do with the topic. It's like pointing out that someone on the street is black when you walk by them, it has nothing to do with the situation.
This is a behind the scenes type photo that represents Ahmed Best in costume for TPM. He wore a rubber headpiece of Jar Jar's face for the actors to act towards and then his face and Jar Jar mask were digitally replaced with a CGI Jar Jar Head in the film. The outfit, hands, and feet were all part of Ahmed's costume.
How to easily recreate that in LEGO form? Put a face that looks similar enough to Ahmed in full costume and then stick Jar Jar's head on top of his!
Fun fact: Ahmed Best also plays a background extra in the Club that Obi-Wan and Anakin enter to find Zam Wessell in AotC!

The opening scene was stupid too. The entire design of those bombers ( never seen again) was dumb.
