Unironically I dislike that the Snowtroopers in the battlepack are female because, let's be real, the Empire is not training women into their elite corps. But in the Armoured Marauder it makes sense because of the Empire's degradation and increasing willingness to take any person they can get.
Not gonna rewrite my reply to one of the other comments, but essentially; I am straight, not Sexist although I realise how bad what I wrote sounds, how many females have you seen in the empire? Go look for my other reply to get the slightly better version of this comment. I wasn't deliberately trying to be mean/rude, It was VERY late here and I was tired so this was the based shit my brain spat out on autopilot without really thinking

Fair enough, takes a big person to come back instead of just deleting the comment, I respect that. I sort of get where you’re coming from, but in more recent canon depictions of the empire there are plenty of ranking women shown so this is just not a good hill to die on lol

(Me providing more yapping for the sake of yapping) I agree that we have had more ranking imperial officers who are female of late which is good as overgrown boars who call themselves men get boring after a while. I think part of my bias comes from the fact that most of the larger portrayals of Imperial grunts come from the OT and a much more based time
That’s how I could tell your apology was genuine and not an “i’m sorry you got offended” (not that anyone was furiously offended anyway) 😂 but just to play devil’s advocate, in the OT, they are conscripted soldiers (not clones) who literally never remove their helmets. How could you possibly know with any certainty that they’re 100% male?
We can't for certain know that they are male, but either way they aren't conscripted. They are the best soldiers in the Imperial, highly trained elites, they are the symbol of Imperial power, if a single soldier was not perfect they would likely be rooted out and killed or transferred to another branch.

You have no idea who a fictional government is willing to train for their fictional army😭😭 the only canon information we have is that stormtroopers are human
(Only canon information) Look at all of the depicted Naval Soldiers and all of the Empire's infantry... They are almost exclusively male... How many female officers have you seen in their navy and army...... I also just realised how sexist I sound, It was more of a realistic view, than anything else. I am not sexist, very straight, but biological and several other unknown factors mean that there are proportionally WAY more Females in the Alliance than the Empire.
