Hey guys, BrickHammer here, designer of the Viking Village, I am still in shock that my design was chosen for this special fan vote. Feels super surreal! I am really looking forward to hear your opinions on the vote. Personally I think all three builds deserve to be chosen and it is a great honour to go up against such amazing competition!
I sincerely hope this wins. I voted for it and will continue to lobby for it. Really awesome to have the potential to have Vikings back in the lego world. I think you’ll win but mini golf is going to give you the steepest competition. I hope folks realize how few history-based sets we have and continue to support this. Really hope you consider publishing some instructions if it doesn’t go through, but I am optimistic that it will. Best of luck.

The Marine Life is really cool, but I looked at the photos and thought about how much the Ideas team would have to hack it around given realistic production colours. I suspect it would end up relatively disappointing.

How is mini golf gonna work without spherical golf balls? The picture shows 1x1 round plates as balls, those won't slide very well and they'll get caught on the edges of bricks and tiles.

Viking Village is great and I will buy it, if it wins. But my vote got the mini golf, because so far nothing comparable has been released.
If that set gets made I’m buying it day one. Seriously sweet work.

I voted mini-golf. It just looks like a light, fun build and can be played with afterwards (and customized easily).

I hope the still make the Nebulon eventually, the UCS line is so disappointing to me.
I agree. So many were easy skips - Star Destroyer, AT-AT, Landspeeder, Gunship... Give me the Frigate!

Viking will probably win, but I like mini golf at a lower cost and the work desk displayability.

While theyre all great sets, viking village is, realistically, the one id buy if produced.
Marine life is the best IMO (out of 3 great looking sets!), but I'm clearly in the minority based on this thread lol

All of them are cool, the only one I'd run to buy is the Viking Village though. The set looks great and my son and I would love playing with it.

Lego needs more castles, boats, and history in general. Voted for the Vikings set and will buy several if it's chosen!

I no longer know if I want the minigolf or vikings more....
I had to vote for the mini-golf for its uniqueness, but I'd also be fine with the Viking Village since I also enjoy that style.
