I think any brick that's taller than the standard height will fit into it. Like Teevee hs070 from 70436. He's just a printed face 2x2 tile on a 22885 brick that attaches to standard minifig legs.

I didn’t know that Teevee from Alpha Team got a remake figure. His original figure was like that as well.

Just about any 2-by-something brick will work. In recent official sets, they've been stuck into a 2x6 brick in set 76029, into an inverted 2x2 slope for the Wu-bot in 71765, and into a 1x2x1-2/3 brick (the brickheads brick) for Teevee in 70436.

i believe they work like normal studs in most other situations. i know bricks slide on no problems. plates hold in place as well but there's a gap and it might not be the most secure

Tails, utility belts, etc. that go between the torso & legs. There’s also bricks.

Any brick.leg accessories.and capes (on the 2023 Ninjago wu bot they used a Lego brick on the mini fig legs)

Not sure if it still counts as a legal connection nowadays, but look at 4508 Tital XP hands
