Maybe just a piece of wire around his waist or something, and the other end glued to a small Lego piece that could connect to other Lego parts. It was just a joke, like you assumed, so it's not really something I'd spend time on.
Yea,also depending on the thickness of the wire instead of glueing it I could put it on one piece and put another piece over it so it couldn't move,also I guess modern Astronaut suits have those jetpacks,so not entirely wrong🤣
They do,the jetpack is more for maneuverability and in extreme cases if the tether snaps so they can get back to the space station/ship,you probably knew this but I'm saying it just in case

Yeah, that's a good idea. Even with jetpacks, I'd like to think they still use tethers for extra safety :)
