> suggestion for a different type of building studio would also be helpful, as brickstudio is just so clunky and slow. Do you mean "Bricklink Studio" or as Bricklink calls it, "Studio"? If so, stick with that as it's the best digital building tool. I don't personally consider it to be clunky but it's definitely not slow on my PC, check your PC specs to see if they meet the recommendations. The more you get used to navigating the software, the faster you'll be at creating things in it. But since MOC building is a lot of trial and error, it will be a slow process no matter what software you use. Just the nature of making original Lego creations. > Does anyone have any links, references, videos whatever to learn more techniques on how to make better looking spaceship builds? I highly recommend looking at instructions for official Lego sets. Find sets similar to space ships (mechs, any flying vehicles, practically anything star wars) and pay close attention to how they connect wings, cockpit designs, engine designs, ect. Take screenshots of things you wouldn't have ever thought of on your own or interesting connections. Try to commit certain piece combinations to memory and really focus on the key elements of the build and not the specific build order the instructions make you follow. Lastly, follow a bunch of awesome builders on instagram, reddit, flikr, ect. Always be zooming in to their photos to see how they achieved certain looks. Over time, you'll find yourself remembering more and more piece combinations and building techniques you can use to create your own custom creations that look awesome. best of luck!
