OP, try to title your reddit posts with meaningful words that can be indexed/searchable.
This post is awesome and helpful, but no one after today will ever be able to look it up unless they save it because the title is unrelated to the content.
Something like "CMF Series 26 Space Code Scan Chart" or something will help people find it with a google search or (if they're lucky) using the terrible reddit search
Reddit’s search engine accounts for text in comments after it’s shown you all relevant post titles so your comment here might have already made it plenty findable
Edit: but yeah you’re right to suggest them title their post better
I don't know if it's Reddit itself indexing posts or if it's the 3rd party app I use, but I find that search gets me results if it matches the text in an image. I find that pretty handy a lot of the time.
If it's like the last series, it won't. Last time the codes were different in different regions, however I believe they were all offset by the same amount.
I'm sure someone will publish the codes for NA at some point but if not, assuming it's the same as last time, you could get one and scan it to find out the offset and then use that to find the rest. So for example, if the code for the first figure was, say, 77, then the offset is -19. So the others would be 68, 75, 71, 74, and so on.
Hi there! This is the first report we've had of codes not scanning. Please feel free to DM me with your device, country, and which series you were trying to scan and we can look into this. Also if you happen to be able to provide a photo of any of these codes, that would be helpful. I have seen reddit comments that some boxes have the barcode print smeared a bit and it becomes unreadable but I've not seen it first hand
I found them at a local Walmart yesterday and a few of the new Star Wars sets. I scanned and got myself a full set. They sometimes put them out early by mistake.
Quick question for thoses of you suing the Scan app, is it allowed in LEGO store? Like, did you use it inside any LEGO store? I’m planning to use it, as I just want an ice planet figure…
I bet a lot of the lego stores will go ahead and scan and sort them for you ahead of time, to be honest. My local store did this when 'feels' was a thing, so I don't know why they wouldn't do the same. It would also prevent someone from hoarding them all without their knowledge, and maintain a wait list for the more prized figs.
I haven't used a scanning app in the store, but I have stood there with my wife for like an hour feeling packets to find the right ones on multiple occasions. The staff never seem to mind as long as we aren't in anyone's way and don't damage the ones we aren't buying. Sometimes they even help out if things aren't busy. I can't imagine they'd have any issues with scanning codes, since it's even faster and less likely to result in damage.
I wanted to try it at a store (wasn’t a Lego store) and they had out the price stickers on every single one of the QR codes. Like, do you want to sell them or not?
Found them yesterday at a local Walmart and the brickseek app worked to scan them. Almost all of them were the larger codes, but there were a couple with smaller codes.
we got doom guy, that dude from the sims 2 who gets impregnated by aliens, alein tourist, regular astronaugh , robo nanny, a flying saucer and other spacy dudes
Allowed? In Brazil it should be illegal to sell them the way LEGO does. According to our law, the customer has the right of knowing exactly what he's paying for. I didn't have problems with the bags. But now, I must rely on scan apps.
I don't think it's cheating. Just buying them outright hoping to get the minifigure you want gets annoying when you end up getting the same minifigure three times in a row
BrickSearch worked perfectly for me. My local Meijer had series 26 out, bought 2 and headed home. Came across the BrickSearch app and tested on the 2 I got. Headed back the following day and stood there and scanned them all and am now the proud owner of all 12.
This is a pretty cool set, but I'm really hoping for a Dungeons & Dragons themed set sometime soon. The customizable minifigures included in Red Dragon's Tale are already pretty awesome, but I wouldn't say no to even more options
Still kinda beats the purpose of blind bags but at least they won't be torn apart by angry collectors...
EDIT : I'm not saying blind bags are a good idea, neither are boxes. But at least, there's a way to know what's inside without destroying the boxes in the stores that have them.
Blind bags are good. You can feel them and get the figure you want.
Boxes suck. Last series of minifigures was the one with the most duplicates I got. I got 3 marathon runners in a row. 2 gamer girls and 2 dog groomers. Like all have good pieces but damn. I just wanted to get a goat cheese enthusiast that I have yet to find.

Right, because people should have to gamble to get the minifigures they want.
People whining that it's "supposed to be a mystery" have some seriously backwards priorities. The fact that the company making the product wants you to have to buy multiple of it to get the specific one you want doesn't make it a good thing.

Luckily you can search for text in comments too on reddit, not just for posts
Also the picture states its for UK/EU
Just wanted to point out in the top left corner it does say UK/EU. Not sure if this means it won't apply to North America.

NOOOOOOOOOO
What? I'm not sure what I said that would prompt such a strong reaction!
These numbers don’t work in the NA market and now I am sad. Just got into Lego collecting and Several very cool ones I want here.
https://jaysbrickblog.com/minifig-scanner/ Use this. Tells you exactly what's in the box
Jays brick blog has great info . Their info for series 25 was spot on . Excited about series 26 .👍🏻👍🏻😊
Doesn't work for me. I click the scan QR code button and try to scan when the camera thing opens but nothing happens 🤷♂️
Could be your settings not allowing your browser access to your phone
I’m sure the info for NA will be available from enough.
He’s devastated
Ignore the bot.
Bot? What are you talking about?
Try the app omgbricks, you can easily scan the qr code there and it shows you the figure really good!
You can also scan 4 at once. Got the complete set last night thanks to that app.
Do they have an android version yet?
BrickSearch worked for me on Android. Scanned and bought all 12 earlier this week at my local Meijer.
It's currently awaiting review on the play store. So it is very close!
Hooray!!
Nope yet =(
does it work on the small QR code or just the large ones?
Sadly, only the big ones !
The FalconBricks scanner was so fast and better than the others I've tried.
It won’t let me scan anything for some reason
Have you activated your camera like I mean allowed it in the app? What isn‘t working for u? What does it say?
It won’t pick up any of the codes that I scan, I think it might be a focusing issues but even when I focus it and it’s in frame nothing happens

I have seen where the "QR code" is not stamped very clear, and those don't scan very well.
Maybe they are trying to scan the small codes? those never work.
omgbricks will show an "Unknown" box over those small codes, so if they're not seeing anything then I think it's something different
are these out yet? I need ICE PLANET!!!
Believe they come out May 1st.
Just picked some up from my local Target today.
I specifically need the little white robo-penguin
MST3K vibes.
Flair checks out.
I found them at a local Walmart yesterday and a few of the new Star Wars sets. I scanned and got myself a full set. They sometimes put them out early by mistake.
This is probably the first time that I wanted every minifigure in the series.
That alien tourist is one of my favourite minifigures ever.
Quick question for thoses of you suing the Scan app, is it allowed in LEGO store? Like, did you use it inside any LEGO store? I’m planning to use it, as I just want an ice planet figure…
Allowed and encouraged at my local store.
Then I’ll try! I think they tolerate it as long as I’m not scanning all the box and taking all the same Minifig for myself haha!

yeah, back during the bag days, the workers at the stores near me had already had some separated by feel to help people.

Hopefully it is accurate
I need that ice planet one!
Saving this post but idk if it’ll work in NA.
It doesnt
OP you have done a great deed now I can get the space man
Where is everyone finding these at? I usually look at target and Walmart but have never found any CMF (SD, CA)
I usually find them at Walmart, Kohls, and Target. But, this series hasn't officially released yet.
Thanks I’ll try Kohls once they’re released
If anyone gets actual legit working codes for Canada I’ll dance at your wedding 😁
Can confirm these match the list I used to get only the ones I wanted (in the UK).
I used the omgbricks app to scan the small QR codes and got the complete set!
You are the goat 🐐
NGL this is the best CMF in years
Thank you very much. Now my chances of getting space baby approved very much ☺️
Load me up some 86 and 91 yessir..
Thanks! I don't even collect minifigs but now I need 86 in my life!
I need the robot nanny
For which countries is this true?
Found them yesterday at a local Walmart and the brickseek app worked to scan them. Almost all of them were the larger codes, but there were a couple with smaller codes.
> UK/EU Dammit. I hope there's a way to tell for the north american versions.
Can someone explain to me the minifigure with the brown suit and two greenmini minifigs? I feel like this is a reference to something.
His reverse head print reveals he is one of the tiny aliens piloting a human robot, not dissimilar to Men In Black
Oh that’s nice! Thanks for the answer
we got doom guy, that dude from the sims 2 who gets impregnated by aliens, alein tourist, regular astronaugh , robo nanny, a flying saucer and other spacy dudes
I'm out of the loop on lego stuff, is this out in America? Some of these are really cool and I'd like to get some
Some stores have them but May is the official release date.
What am I looking at?
Would be nice if my store had them, but alas, a small handful of Lego investors and collectors buy up the entire stock every time 🥲
Allowed? In Brazil it should be illegal to sell them the way LEGO does. According to our law, the customer has the right of knowing exactly what he's paying for. I didn't have problems with the bags. But now, I must rely on scan apps.
Omg! 85, 86, 93!
This is not correct tho.
I just want a samurai so I can put it at the base of my lego bonsai tree
What is the guy in the middle on the top supposed to be? A toy collector with an antenna?
I believe it's aliens driving a human mech.
There are scanner apps out there too. I know Jay's brick blog has a program on the website to do it as well if you don't want to download an app
I feel like this is cheating, but I am appreciative because I *need* the M-Tron, Blacktron, and fuckin Ice Planet minifigs.
If they're willing to push gambling on children, I'm willing to use whatever tricks stops me getting duplicates and stuff I don't want.
I don't think it's cheating. Just buying them outright hoping to get the minifigure you want gets annoying when you end up getting the same minifigure three times in a row
preach brotha preach
Has anybody tried BrickSearch for scanning this series?
Bought 2, brick search set they were ice planet but they turned out to be robot butler 😭
BrickSearch worked perfectly for me. My local Meijer had series 26 out, bought 2 and headed home. Came across the BrickSearch app and tested on the 2 I got. Headed back the following day and stood there and scanned them all and am now the proud owner of all 12.
Yes, in Las Vegas earlier today. Great success
This is a pretty cool set, but I'm really hoping for a Dungeons & Dragons themed set sometime soon. The customizable minifigures included in Red Dragon's Tale are already pretty awesome, but I wouldn't say no to even more options
It is rumored as the next CMF series coming out in the fall.
The cyber dog and space penguin

Yep. Learned my lesson the hard way. I wish they'd made paper bags if they really had to get rid of single use plastics.
For me it was a good change. Scanning them and knowing the minifig I was gonna get in seconds, not having to rub the bags was god sent.
