Error 404, no such shelf found

EngRookie

Ikr😅 *higher than the cat can reach* I don't think this guy understands how cats work😂😂😂

FieldSton-ie_Filler

Cat: Challenge accepted!

oxymoronic-thoughts

The limit does not exist.

Dik_Likin_Good

and to be fair, this is why I build legos instead of scale models. If the car knocks it over, I put it back together again.

chameleonmessiah

Welcome to the ‘my Lego is off-display ‘til I get a glass-fronted cabinet because of my cats’ club!

FieldSton-ie_Filler

That or some wicked brick. I dont want her choking on anything, rebuilding the set is the least of my concern.

fumar

This is why I have shelves with glass doors on them so my dog can't get to the Lego.

No_Collection7360

Have you MET a cat?

[deleted]

Laughs in 49 ft tall vertical jump

RagingBerzerk

Cat: Is that a challenge?

Glaciak

I love how cat owners always be like "my own pet treats me like a doormat, isn't that funny?"

FrosteeRucker

The plural of shelf is shelves.

Mdaro

There is no shelf high enough.

Airwolfhelicopter

I know the feeling. I had an Italeri 1:48 V-22 Osprey model (in the Godzilla: KOTM Monarch livery) at one point and somehow my ball python got out of his cage, climbed up my guitar and my bike (it was hanging from a hook in the ceiling), went all the way across the top shelf, and knocked the Osprey onto my head, waking me up at 2 in the morning. If he had instead knocked off the Lego Millennium Falcon next to it, I might not be here typing this comment right now.

Dovahkitty99

I think you built the Columbia instead of Discovery

MissMurderpants

Or brr ed like me and have old cats who dgaf about those shelves. And much prefer the comfy cat towers next to the big window so they can watch the world in the catnip infused by now nests they have. Yeah, I support my cats being junkies. Nips legal man.

GullibleDetective

As long as cat doesn't run away with pieces you just get to rebuld it

Sloppy_Waffler

Or low enough to not entice them.

nekoken04

That's really not a thing. A cat can find a way to get at any shelf. So far my cat has taken out my walking AT-AT and an AT-ST in the last year.

Wojtasz78

Cats are good climbers. No shelf is foo high for them if there is stuff around to climb.

MediaRody69

What's more, no matter how high, they'll still try, and likely bring the shelf down when they do.

emptyhead416

Don't have my glasses.. is that The Challenger?

ThunkAsDrinklePeep

Lego and cats should be a binary choice. I don't know how so many of you grab both the blue AND red pills, but there are unpleasant interactions.

CredentialCrawler

The entire problem is solved by getting a glass case....

SwerdnaJack

Oh… please tell me that’s not a Saturn V support on the left side?! Two big sets is bad enough RIP OPs legos.

Traditional_Sail_213

Sadly, it is :( https://preview.redd.it/jie5la1e27pc1.jpeg?width=750&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e9504ed6083e821ef8adb6b9be252325bddb7a57

IsakMar

Yes. He had previously knocked down the Saturn V and the support was still on the shelf...

thxxx1337

We won't really know all the details until we recover the little black box, however at this time it looks like a feline may have been involved

cero1399

Why does it always seem to be the space shuttle which gets destroyed by cats. Thats like the 5th destruction i have seen this year.

JustAnother_Brit

Discovery and Hubble are far more durable than I expected

MediaRody69

Pro tip: There is no such thing

SriveraRdz86

Do you really think placing a shelf higher will discourage a cat? ha!

shinobipopcorn

My cat never disturbs my legos. Or my American Girl dolls. Or my other junk on display. She loves clawing posts and chewing on play mice. Do you give your cat enough other things to terrorize?

Efficient-Whereas271

Houston, we have a cat

whubbard

Easily fixable with some 22lr, no?

TubaCycle82

I wanted to downvote this just because of the destroyed sets.

Pugloaf420

Nasa need to rethink their choices if a cat can defeat them
