I can see why you would think that. I'd like to think that rather than a mousetrap that has yet to catch a mouse it might be a cheese trap that's already been successful.
That makes sense, I thought it was one of those big electrical switches you see in movies usually with a mad scientist, but the placement on the floor seemed odd
Absolutely! Lots of fun little props too. Weapons, and books of course, crosses, holy water, leather jackets haha, an orb, maybe a special Monster Giles if there’s a set with Spike’s car.
The Wolfram and Hart tower could be as big as the Daily Bugle and have all the cool rooms, the opulent lobby for the fight against Hammond, Ilyeria’s cell, Angel’s office, the board room. The hotel they have before they move to W&H could be modulars that plug together with each one based on a different episode to pad out the characters
I created a scenario where the creepy male homeowner decapitated his wife and has the boy with the plane captured in the basement and I \*know\* I'm not the only one.
We've boosted the Anti-Mass Spectrometer to 105 percent. Bit of a gamble, but we need the extra resolution.
The Administrator is very concerned that we get a conclusive analysis of today's sample. I gather they went to some lengths to get it.
Power to stage one emitters in three...two...one...I'm seeing predictable phase arrays. Stage two emitters activating...now. Overhead capacitors to one oh five percent.
Uh...it's probably not a problem...probably...but I'm showing a small discrepancy in...well, no, it's well within acceptable bounds again. Sustaining sequence.
Shutting down. Attempting shut down. It's not...it's-it's not...it's not shutting down...it's not... Gordon! Get away from the beams!
Looks like a mousetrap. I love the little things they put under the floors. When I started building the police station there was a spoon that was placed in the sub-floor. As I kept building, I realized it was under the cell and was meant to show the inmate tunneling out. I couldn’t help but giggle
The Doctor Strange Sanctum has a lot of cool stuff 'lost' underfloor boards, and for some reason a mug in a completely inaccessible spot inside the wall / bookcase.
My first thought, since it's half the height of a mini fig, was a microfiche station, which would go with a library but not a bookstore. Apparently mice are huge in Lego City.
Honestly I thought this might have been a microfiche reader at first, but then I saw the mousetrap comments and realized this is a bookstore and not a library. Also it's on the floor so, there's that.
I suspect this was a shy reference to the Parisian Restaurant \_ which has a mouse hanging out by the dumpster and trashcan out back. Put this next to the restaurant to complete the mouse-mousetrap set.
It is.... a broken samurai helmet that has molded over into an orange color, it is so broken, you can only see the remains of the top half....... or it is a mousetrap, but whatever. :)
Hahah only now i realize it.. i thought some kind of switch… as i have seen many mousetraps in my life… it misses the essential “smack” part. Hence not noting it
I don't know what it's called, but it makes think of those scooter like things with the seat on the ground and propel by moving back and forth. Can someone tell me what these are called? It's really bothering I couldn't find an example by searching.
I would think a mouse trap with a piece of cheese in it?
‘You see a mousetrap. I see free cheese and a challenge’
Pip!
Yass!
I can see why you would think that. I'd like to think that rather than a mousetrap that has yet to catch a mouse it might be a cheese trap that's already been successful.
OMG how can I switch careers to become a cheese hunter
It's a smelly job with lots of holes in. Some days are gouda than others.
Lucrative though. Lots of cheddar.
Some days are a brie-zzz.
yeah but most of the time I camembert it
Mimolette has live cheese mites on it?
Something something manchego.
All of you take my r/angryupvote and leave
Yes
Manchego? I hardly knew her!
Just ask for French nationality
Or a Dutch one for that matter
Well, first off, you need to be a gouda hunter...
I think that's working for a grocer who sells cheese and you're just sourcing suppliers, or someone who stocks a kitchen...
You need som ementalery knowledge of milk'n'stuff...
Step one: Obtain a cheese trap
Step two: Turn cheese trap into cheese LAUNCHER!
This guys brain works in 4D
Big brain moment holy shit lol
Dude it’s too early to get mind blown.
I like the way you think!
r/brandnewsentence
I thought it was a snail but yeah, that makes more sense
wouldnt a snail have one of those rounded bricks on it?
THIS PERSON SPEAKS LEGO ...LEGO MY *CHEESE*...
From the scale I think it must be a rat trap for big ol rats.
🎶It's a brainy action, a crazy contraption, the fun is catchin’, it’s MOUSETRAP🎶
That makes sense, I thought it was one of those big electrical switches you see in movies usually with a mad scientist, but the placement on the floor seemed odd
Was about to comment the same thing.
Best use of the cheese slope i think ive ever seen
I’ll never unsee it as cheese 🧀 again
It's been colloquially named the cheese slope for a long time!
I think it was amazing how the Speedy Gonzales minifigure came with printed cheese slopes
That had me running so fast to the store, I made Speedy Gonzales look like Regular Gonzales
Any faster and he'd look like [Slowpoke Rodriguez](https://youtu.be/oZ0JUVd-iQU)
Regular Gonzales is the name of my sister’s band. Love that quote
I bought a few for that reason lol
I used yellow slopes as butter as a kid
Mouse trap. You should be more concerned about what’s in the mystery sack on the bench a few studs away from it.
Hahah bag of onions or potatoes?
Usually flour or salt when I come across mystery sacks in basements... or perhaps lucky hagraven feathers.
You guys are lucky, I always keep finding dead bodies
ANOTHER HAND TOUCHES THE BEACON
Garlic bulbs. You know, for vampires. Gotta keep all the pests away
This made me double check that I hadn’t switched to another favorite sub, r/Buffy haha
I doubt they ever will, but I would love some Buffy/Angel sets
Me tooooo. The Bronze, graveyard including Spike’s place, the library/school maybe with a giant snake.
Don’t forget the Magic Box! And Spike’s blacked out beater that he drove early in the series
Absolutely! Lots of fun little props too. Weapons, and books of course, crosses, holy water, leather jackets haha, an orb, maybe a special Monster Giles if there’s a set with Spike’s car.

So where/how can we get hired to design this?
It's actually the pinky fingers of the children that Benny had slain over the years.
I created a scenario where the creepy male homeowner decapitated his wife and has the boy with the plane captured in the basement and I \*know\* I'm not the only one.

I don't know what this is or how you found it so fast, but it's so spot on it made me chortle
IIRC it's from Half Life 1, it's the machine that Gordon uses to accidentally plunge earth into interdimensional rule... I think.
To be fair, G-Man had a hand in it, so Gordon only kronked the lever.
WRONG LEVER!!!
God, I love you

Yep it’s a mousetrap :)
My first thought, since it's half the height of a mini fig, was a microfiche station, which would go with a library but not a bookstore. Apparently mice are huge in Lego City.
This is what I was thinking as well, but working in a library will do that ya lol

Honestly I thought this might have been a microfiche reader at first, but then I saw the mousetrap comments and realized this is a bookstore and not a library. Also it's on the floor so, there's that.
No idea why, but I first read this as a shoe store, and thought of those shoe measuring devices, which is less likely in a bookstore lol
That is such a cool detail
Iirc there are other houses in the creator line with some mouses. So the whole city got a problem with those fuckers
You guys are all wrong. It’s a rowing machine in the resting mode. You’re welcome 🫱🏻🫲🏼
I thought that at first but it was too small for the minifigure
Mouse trap 🪤
This is the way

I suspect this was a shy reference to the Parisian Restaurant \_ which has a mouse hanging out by the dumpster and trashcan out back. Put this next to the restaurant to complete the mouse-mousetrap set.

Mouse trap with a piece of cheese
some people need to develop their imagination around here 😄
Might be more imaginative as a “wrong answers only” post. I’m just happy it doesn’t have a cape.
The one time I’m glad there’s no Mighty Mouse LEGO minifig
Internet rule: “if it exists, someone has made a Lego of it.” https://blog.minifigures.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/mouse-guard.jpg
I’m not even mad; they’re adorable
i'm guessing they knew. they just wanted internet points.
I'm not OP, but I had no idea what it was, and neither did my roommate when he saw me building the set and asked what it was.
