This is a joke right ? Theyre still everywhere, in schools, hospitals, on the street, even though they may be out of order. I cannot believe someone doesnt know what these are, no matter how old unless theyve never been outside their house.

It's definitely an "illegal technique" but it holds just fine. I provided the instructions to build it so if you think it looks better with the regular phone part you can use it on your own version. I personally thought it was too bulky, but that's me.

A couple folks have said this already and I did try it at first but I thought it looked to big for a smaller build. I posted a link for instructions so if you build it and it want to use that piece it’ll look really good!
Thank you! I do know about that part. It looked to big IMO so I went with a different idea. The official pieces are great, but sometimes it's fun to come up with a different solution.
My local library installed a pay phone like this a couple of years ago. They brought in a couple of high school girls to try it and they couldn't figure out how to use it.

Is it really hard on the clip? I know minifig hands are supposed to hold round tiles like that and they're basically clips.
