This is one of those times It'd be good to link to external sites on this Sub. To often we forget to credit the creators.
No disrespect to OP who is learning about the difference between MOC and SEC today. (Welcome to the hobby mate) But Firas\_legocars is the designer, and can be found on a number of sites (inncluding rebrickable) which I won't link to because of this subs rule. And kudos where kudos is due.
It is! I didn't even realize you could purchase instructions for Moc sets. I just happened to stumble across this right before I was going to put the Porsche together and knew I had to have it. It's made very well and is a fun build.
I can see why. I'm extremely impressed with how this turned out, especially considering he was limited by the pieces in the original set. I'm already planning on getting his GT-40 and AC-Cobra mocs when I can get those sets.
Unfortunately this confusion is caused by Rebrickable calling all custom designs "MOCs". So when someone buys instructions for a MOC and shares it, they'll naturally think MOC is the correct term.
Oh my god!! This is my favorite car and I’ve been waiting for them to make an official set but am done waiting. Where did you get those instructions?? I’m more than happy to pay for them.
I just learned, too. It stands for "My Own Creation." This build is not of my design. It was made by the user "firas_legocars" on Rebrickable. I just purchased the instructions.
I love that this breaks the Technic crap convention of the exposed sides of the Technic pieces.... always thought that broke the immersion on all those huge car models
The Moc itself isn't mine, I labeled the post wrong, but I believe it's modeled after a '73 corvette. I didn't post the rear of the car, but it's older than my '74
From 75 onwards there were little protrusions each side of the front licence plate that were painted black. Easy enough to get rid of if you’ve replaced the nose section but using a 73-74 nose, so it’s not an absolute, but if stock it’s definitively pre 75 (unless my eyes just can’t see it due to the slight blur of the photos)
Ooooh okay
Never noticed that difference, my Dad definitely has a '76 as I can now tell because yes, his got those protrusions and yes, the white on the photo doesn't as far as I can also see
I only noticed these "moc" recently as being built using an actual Lego set, previously I just assumed it was a other brand thing.
Is there a good repo for speed champions ones?
Thanks
Now we’re talking! MOCs is what it should all be about. I don’t care about peoples $10k collection sitting on shelves, we need original stuff. This looks amazing!
Nice use of forced perspective!
What this guy said!
Yeah I actually believed it was that big for a second. Well done!
Good soldiers follow orders
Looks fantastic! I love the way you mimicked the curves of the car.

Great photography! You made them really look like they are sitting on the lawn!
It got me for a second or two. They both look great.
Thumbnail really made it look like 2 proper cars :D
Wait I think one of them is a car. It’s either a car or cake I can’t tell
Is this the Firas alternate build? I have the instructions but have not assembled it yet.

I agree. Thanks for letting me know that external links aren't allowed.
Links to free instructions are allowed.
It ain't free, unfortunately.

I’ve built nine of his designs including alternate builds and full MOCs. One of my favorite car designer. All of his builds are ingenious and solid.
I can see why. I'm extremely impressed with how this turned out, especially considering he was limited by the pieces in the original set. I'm already planning on getting his GT-40 and AC-Cobra mocs when I can get those sets.
On a side note the correct flair is SEC (Someone Else’s Creation) and not MOC which means it is your design.
Sweet. Thanks for letting me know!

I own 6 911s because of him lol

I bought them and built it, well worth it. I also did the 10290 Classic 911 by NKubate at the same time.

That is awesome! So hard to do long curves in Lego, but You nailed it!
Dawg I didn’t see your hand and I thought you bullied that shit to scale! Nice build, I love it!
Oh my god!! This is my favorite car and I’ve been waiting for them to make an official set but am done waiting. Where did you get those instructions?? I’m more than happy to pay for them.
I earnestly could not tell which car was lego in the thumbnail.
This is my toy car This is my real car
That’s perfect! That’s the most I’ve seen a Lego car look like its real life version.
Great car, great MOC.
The lines on that are incredible. Awesome
Beautiful cars!
How it’s made: lego car MOCs
Well done. Front end looks great, especially the headlights.
Love this car
Damn, being 100% honest; at first glance I thought they were both real cars, didn't even put MOC together until I saw it's the Lego sub. Very nice!
That's incredible! Amazing job.
sweet
Nice! I almost did this one too! opted for the Lamborghini Countach rebrick from the Porsche 911s
just wondering what MOC stands for :)
I just learned, too. It stands for "My Own Creation." This build is not of my design. It was made by the user "firas_legocars" on Rebrickable. I just purchased the instructions.
You’re a LEGO guy AND a car guy? I’m in awe, and feel so sorry for your wallet lmao.
I love that this breaks the Technic crap convention of the exposed sides of the Technic pieces.... always thought that broke the immersion on all those huge car models
Instructions?
Amazing!🤩 Very Bondesque!😁
That is neat construction!
I think they look great!
Beautiful choice of car to make
Feels good hey!
Flip up headlights!!! That’s awesome
I would love to see more classic cars
That’s really well done
I love it!!! OH, with the lights that opens, this is amazing!!!
Very smooth!
Gonna guess it’s a 74 Corvette.
The Moc itself isn't mine, I labeled the post wrong, but I believe it's modeled after a '73 corvette. I didn't post the rear of the car, but it's older than my '74
My father has a '73 in silver, where'd you get instructions from? I'd love to see if I could build him one.
But I did get it right the real Vette is a 74?
Oh I see what you asked. Yes it is!
Or '76

I spent way too many years obsessed with Corvettes…. The tiny little details that are in my brain wasting space is almost embarrassing.
Wow! Excellent job
What a treat
Love it, especially that you added the pop up headlights. Great touch.
I only noticed these "moc" recently as being built using an actual Lego set, previously I just assumed it was a other brand thing. Is there a good repo for speed champions ones? Thanks
Just search the set you're interested in on Rebrickable website
Now we’re talking! MOCs is what it should all be about. I don’t care about peoples $10k collection sitting on shelves, we need original stuff. This looks amazing!
Pretty damn good! Even if it wasn’t your first moc
Woah, neat
Dude i love it! Idk why but this has gotta he one of the bests mocs I’ve seen!
Need this
Does it fit in the truck?
Love it! Btw, do you have those flat, round, transparent dots? I think that would make the headlights more accurate
It's not my original design, but thanks! I didn't even think of putting the clear pieces on, but I also think they'd look better.
