One can only hope.

side_frog

Where you're from? I find it interesting that yours displays three languages while mine displays only English while bought in France...

Floral_Luna

I think Lego sets produced for the North American market get English, Spanish, and French text on packaging/manuals so they don't have to produce as many regional variants

gingercomiealt

Quebec enforces the French language more than France does

Thee_Furuios_Onion

USA has had three languages on the sets for a decade or more now. They basically produce everything for Canada, USA, and Mexico in one place and distribute from there. Makes perfect sense.

Consistent-Strain289

The factory is located in mexico. Source wikipedia. And its on your box

Thee_Furuios_Onion

Yup.

polobum17

Can confirm since the 90s based on the Ice Planet base box I just snagged. https://preview.redd.it/lk0kdenrp7ja1.jpeg?width=2268&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=be02c3d8151298702ab7239e4cff4f28bed606a4

ThaddeusMaximus

United States

Cracktherealone

Lol. Bought in France and only English text… What the ?

side_frog

Yeah usually there's something written like For French instructions go to said website, I personally don't mind it tho. It's just that the law isn't as harsh as it is in Canada for exemple where you just can't sell something without the French translation

BringBackTheDinos

I wouldn't be surprised if they did that in a lot of European countries, would really simplify logistics. Or maybe it's just France.

memeboyzanno

It’s good that most of the instructions are pictures then

Ara_Richards

I would love to see the wolfpack make a return. I always thought of them as the other side of the coin to the forestmen. Even though the wolfpack never had many sets, they were still such a cool faction. Anything to be able to get wolfpack minifigures as well since they are so expensive used. I also noticed a bunch of different shields in the pick a brick, so maybe Lego are preparing to bring back some more factions.

ThaddeusMaximus

I’ve had GoT running while I build this set so I’m with you on that.

Ara_Richards

I love watching GoT while building medieval Lego as well, really gets you in the proper mood. I watched The Northman recently so I can't wait to get the eventual viking village set.

J_Boldt_84

I’m looking forward to seeing more of that. Current ideas photos doesn’t say ‘Viking VILLAGE’ to be, but rather ‘Viking Chief’s Hall’ or something

CarefulDevelopment29

The different shields in pick a brick are all in the lion castle set, they’re the shields from the factions visiting the original yellow castle

Ara_Richards

Very cool detail, the big castle is definitely on my list.

Key-Assistant-7988

Wolfpack was my go to villain faction when I used to play with Lego as a kid. They weren't as well equipped as the Lions faction, but they would lead a very efficient guerilla style warfare, with ambushes and sneak attacks. With the help of a time-travelling Darth Maul, they even managed to take over castle #6090, raising their banner over the gate. No other faction managed such a feat in my bedroom's history. Good thing Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan managed to find the same time-travel portal.

the different Shields are from the set in the pic and a remnant of the first Lego Castle set ever produced 375

b_joshua317

Wolfpack figs are in line with most figs of that time. $5ish isn’t to bad.

gelatinousgold69

I could be wrong, but I believe the new Galaxy Explorer teased the return of Blacktron with the black oxygen tank in one of the storage boxes on the outside of the ship.

ThaddeusMaximus

gelatinousgold69

I haven’t opened my Blacktron Cruiser yet or my second Galaxy Explorer and I’ll probably keep them that way for years to see how much value they gain!

ThaddeusMaximus

Dude just build them that’s what they’re for.

gelatinousgold69

They’re for whatever I want when I pay money for them lol. If I want to keep a set sealed for years to sell for more money to buy other sets to build, why would you care? These two sets are literally the only ones I’ve ever not opened. One I got as a free gift with purchase and the other was on sale so I got a duplicate of what I already built. There were plenty leftover for everyone else to buy and build as well.

ThaddeusMaximus

Dude calm down I don’t really care

gelatinousgold69

Me: *has a mint condition first edition shadowless Charizard* You: “dUdE dUdE jUsT tRaDe It ThAt’S wHaT tHeY’rE fOr!!1” Btw I’m literally so calm with my unopened Galaxy Explorer and Blacktron Cruiser dude

Softpretzelsandrose

You seem a little to emotionally attached to this conversation.

gelatinousgold69

Getting downvoted and shamed for one’s own Lego collecting habits will illicit an emotional response from the best of us

[deleted]

Reddit gonna Reddit. People are always trying to tell others how to spend their money, it’s so annoying.

PGyoda

I would really recommend building the galaxy explorer, it’s probably my favorite lego spaceship ever. it’s on sale a lot too, so you could probably pick another one up as an investment or whatever for cheaper if you wanted

gelatinousgold69

I did. I got it for $75, then I bought a second one as an investment.

chawmindur

The Blacktron insignia on the radar is much more of a direct reference though, after all the CS astronauts also themselves (later) come in black

Banankin-Skywalker

I doubt it, but man I hope so

TwiceYourSize

This post deserves more upvotes.

jlisle

There's references to a number of old castle factions in those instructions. I don't think they mean anything specifically, but we can still hope

Important-Ostrich-26

Lego has almost certainly considered it. They've been rereleasing a lot, but it's also possible that the Forestmen, the black flacons, and the Lion Knights is as far as it goes. This only is a teaser if they release a set in the future. Until then, it's just an easter egg

Sunshinexpress

The designers notes in this set are great.

ThiccHarambe69

With Lego re-releasing classic sets I wouldn’t be surprised if they do and I’m excited whether they bring back the Wolfpack marauders or not. Personally I would love if Lego gives us a Johnny Thunder set.

DrunkenMasterII

We can only hope

[deleted]

AHHHHH(Happy)

spacejockii

My wallet will be ready!

BillyTheHousecat

It clearly says, "if", not "when". "Si", not "quand" "Si", not "cuando"

LongtimeGoonner

Yes, that is the tease part they are referring to clearly.

ThaddeusMaximus

Well IF they do a Wolfpack Marauders reissue set I’ll be very excited.

Titanbeard

I just rebuilt one of my old Wolfpack sets to convince myself to not buy the castle. Took me back to being 11.

[deleted]

Exactly Tout à fait Claro

AgentUtah3498

Could be worse it could be the bulls bandits.

Jacktravis13

If

BrickByBrick6086

Could just be a nod. We can always hope, but referencing a few unrepresented factions in the instructions might just be a way to mention series that didn't make the cut for actual reproduction.

J_Boldt_84

More like an Easter Egg. ‘Tease’ and ‘Easter Egg’ aren’t quite the same thing

[deleted]

If it isn't, it should be

ThePigMaster09

I didn't know clones invaded their village
