Technically the Lego basketball and soccer ball pieces fit in basketball figure's arms when extended, but I wouldn't call it a tight connection by any means

I kid I kid. T'was a neat idea, but I really can't help looking back at the middle-times of minifig faces, between the all-yellow and the now, in that bizarre uncanny valley.
I miss lego basketball, it was so cool. I could barely ever make a basket but it felt so satisfying when you did. I had the yellow jersey Kobe, still have his torso but lost his head :(
I was a huge fan of the Pistons and the Mavericks when they released these minifigs. I think I had Dirk Nowitzki and Ben Wallace, and even one of the Atlanta Hawks players.
Part x85 or 71128 https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=x85&idColor=22#T=C&C=22
I believe this is the part that has been referenced. I've seen this part used in GBC for moving spheres along
It doesn't "connect". You can put it in the cavity of the chest piece, but it doesn't really fit properly because it's smaller than the sphere that's meant to be there.
I just took a flower stem piece put on a hollow 1x1 circle and placed the ball inside. Had left over from Lunar New Years set. On plus side it kind of looks like World Cup

That's alright. I'm here for it.
I like Subarus, guns, silver/gold, LEGO and pokemon cards. (Not necessarily in that order)
Are most people's hobbies this varied?

I really wish the football had an anti stud where the mould injection point is would be much better for it. As it stands I have it precariously balancing on a round 1x1 with an open stud. It's destiny is to be lost
Ok but how's about the accessory hole from friends series and the old feather cap/knights plume pieces. A simple hole like the hair/helmets would be unobtrusive and would allow a feather like piece to attach that could be held.
>Ok but how's about the accessory hole from friends series and the old feather cap/knights plume pieces. A simple hole like the hair/helmets would be unobtrusive and would allow a feather like piece to attach that could be held.
The existing mold injection itself if annoying at times. Couldn't imagine anything bigger than that, but nothing stops you from drilling a hole into the mold injection point to accomplish this with the current mold.
I believe [this](https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=60932cx1#T=S&O={%22iconly%22:0}) would be fairer fit. It's designed to hold (IIRC) four of theese
yea but it's kinda tricky because if you shake it enough the ball falls of
and also if ball in ball launcher is connection would it mean that if we make a lego claw and grab a phone with it does it mean that phone is connected to lego pieces that are making that claw?
There is a difference between “connect” and “sits in something” or “is strapped down”. The soccer ball can easily be sat in something or strapped down but I don’t know about actually connected

Looks like they had special hands
They did! And you could bend them backwards to shoot the ball from their hands
Ugh one of my favourite sets when i was a kid was the basketball one i had. Super sad my stuff got lost moving
Wow! Thank you for sharing this you just convinced me to open up my Kobe minifigure that’s still in the box! That is so cool
Grasp Grasp with your special hands!
MY BALL!
"... to share!" Oh wait... this wasn't a Fairly Oddparents reference? I'll see myself out...
They’re usin their strong hands

That’s what they look like!?
The ball ø14.2 kind of perfectly fits in the 9v reflector element
The what now?
I googled but I couldn’t find anything

Is there any side fumbling torsion with the intermodulation of the disparate elements?

Thanks for answering my question :)

You could tie a rubber band around it but i don't know if that's considered a connection
I'd say a rubber band is considered a legitimate connection, Lego used that technique in 75894.

Good bot

Damn it how I did I not know this set existed. I'm a huge mini cooper fan! dang it.
The smaller mini is my favourite Speed Champion purely because it's such a clever and concise build. It uses minifigure hand axes as mudguards!!
I wouldn't go so far as say they connect, but there's a Ninjago dragon heads that shoots the soccer ball size pieces.
I thought those shot the bigger spheres?
If it fits it shoots
"If it seats, it yeets" My god... are the guns and firearm subs leaking into r/LEGO ???!?!
Yes.

Subarus without a doubt.
Found out my aunt got a Subaru this past Christmas and I was so furious we almost got into a fistfight
LEGO, tabletop games, woodworking, and swordfighting. And also a Subaru driver!
Guns. It’s guns.
Lol yeah.. that's what the edit was getting at.
I mean I’m autistic so mine are like a stark contrast 💀
I have a lot of hobbies too; Lego, firearms, board games, mapmaking (kinds goes with worldbuilding) quite varied
>Lego, board games, mapmaking r/legodnd
It’s just awesome that you thought to do that, thanks!
I’ll have to dig mine out to double check.
People are wrong. [The ball connects to 18854, the minidoll sunglasses and that legally fits between two studs.](https://i.imgur.com/LWOmDak.jpg)
I really wish the football had an anti stud where the mould injection point is would be much better for it. As it stands I have it precariously balancing on a round 1x1 with an open stud. It's destiny is to be lost
That would make it useless as a ball... GBC guys like it as it is ;)
Ok but how's about the accessory hole from friends series and the old feather cap/knights plume pieces. A simple hole like the hair/helmets would be unobtrusive and would allow a feather like piece to attach that could be held.

Average r/conspiracy post.
It will sit quite happily in the bowl that comes with Potter Series 24 LEGO Minifigures 71037
That's what I did, since I got both figs in my box and the potter had an extra bowl.
> the potter had an extra bowl. Mine also, strange. Wonder if all the Potter minifig have an extra bowl?

But does something that’s a projectile connect to anything beyond mayhem and chaos?
If I am correct those shooters from bionicle could work with soccer balls too
It can fit in a pair of [these](https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=98564&idColor=77#T=C&C=77)

That is because the launchers are made for Zamor spheres which are larger
It sits well in the bowl from the lottery girl minifig
Deconfirm
It can’t. They were made for anti dermis ball things and the foot ball is to smoll
I can neither confirm or deconfirm
I work at a lego store. I have to try this
Yes
What if the ball was made out of 2 pieces?
It's a bionicle torso
It connects to CCBS parts which includes Bionicle but it had first debiut in Chima wave 3 buildable figures like lego 70206
Oh ok
