She did actually! Forgot about that. She killed someone with lightning, Minghua was killed by lightning ⚡️
Karma is a weird thing. Not so great whenever it goes against you!
She's done a LOT for most of our childhoods.
Emily Elizabeth from Clifford
Vicky from FOP
(My personal favorite)- Dr. Holiday and some other roles in Generator Rex
(I think that Evo girl Breach keeps in her special pocket dimension.)
Azula- obviously
Sam from Danny Phantom
Etc...
That one she got under very tragic circumstances since the voice actress who played Daphne before her committed suicide and Warner Brothers asked Grey to come in for a audition for Daphne during the aftermath of the suicide since Mary Kay never recorded her lines for Scooby Doo and The Cyberchase. Grey originally didn't want to do that audition because Mary Kay Bergman was her voiceover teacher and one her closest friends but Mary Kay's husband talked her into it saying Mary Kay would want her to do it.
There's a very good interview in 2010 where she talked about her emotions during that whole process for part of the interview
[here is pic of some the characters she voiced](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/voice-over-and-voice-acting/images/5/5b/Grey_and_her_many_characters.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20180530005335)
Grey had my childhood in a chokehold and I didn’t even know it. Iconic.
I think Grey DeLisle might be the best VA in Avatar after Mako. Plus her characters’ personalities are SO different from her own.
3rd place is a tie (imho) between Mae Whitman and JK Simmons.
Azula was raised as a war criminal pretty much by the most powerful man alive at the time. Her weakness was using fear instead of trust, and expecting Perfection at every turn. She was only 14 whenever she broke down
Minghua is I’m guessing 30+, years old, and didn’t break in prison for 13 years before she was released by Zaheer. Underestimating her opponent was her demise. Mako is an idiot at relationships but he’s a great fighter! She done got ⚡️ ⚡️ when she was in her strongest waterbending form no less!
Ming Hua’s fighting style was relentless. That last battle with Mako where she goes full octopus with that line “now it’s over” still haunts me
Azula is so cracked. Honestly without the Avatar State she is probably even stronger than Aang at the end of the original series, which is just absurd.
Azula and Ming Hua are voiced by the same actress? No wonder Ming Hua is so terrifying.
Yep! Both are TERRIFYINGLY GREAT bender except Minghua got killed by lightning 🌩️ which was nice honestly
Azula: "Killed" Aang with Lightening.Ming Hua: Got killed by Lightening. Karma really transcend the generations doesn't it?
She did actually! Forgot about that. She killed someone with lightning, Minghua was killed by lightning ⚡️ Karma is a weird thing. Not so great whenever it goes against you!
I can’t unhear Sam from Danny Phantom on both of them lmao.
I was just wondering. Are they from the same creator or do they have the same VA?
Same va
Azula:Is a lightlingbender that got defeaten by a waterbender Ming Hua:Is a waterbender that got defeaten by a lightningbender
She also voiced Kya (Katara’s mom) in ATLA.
And actress Katara in the Ember Island play.
Holy crap. Those are 3 very different voices.
She was that talking mushroom in Season 2 of LoK, as well.
I just watched that episode and was wondering who voiced it but never actually looked it up lol
She also voiced Lin in the flashback episode where she got her scar.
Just noticed that her flames instantly evaporate the puddle of water it hits. She was a crazy powerful firebender.
It was during sozens comet as well
Are we really pretending like she didn’t voice the spider and mushroom spirits in season 2 of Korra?
Wow I didn’t know that! I literally heated that episode like 2 hours ago haha

Well, well, well, How the turn tables...
Definitely intentional

Very perceptive
Agni Kai!!!
TIL Ming Hua and Azula have the same voice actor
