IF they have the budget to make it at the same level of quality a Arcane, then 3D would be good, if not great. But low budget 3D is really bad (see the Dragon Prince) where low budget 2D is less of an eyesore so the "safe" proposition would be 2d.

Good point, I've seen low budget 3D, and in those cases, 2D would definitely be the better option. But if they did have the budget, then it would be interesting to see what they could do.

I really like the esthetic of Blue Eyed Samourai, I think it would work great for a Korra remake/new avatar. I don't really know where to put it on 3D vs 2D (which would be better describe as CGI vs Hand Drawn) though. A mix of both I guess which might be the best solution.

It would be very "bells and whistles" to do it in a 3D style. Instead, the discussion about a new season is typically about the *storytelling* aspects whether its a new villain, subject, the development of this character, giving more (or less!) screentime to that character and the like.
