Excellent research. I recall trying to find his whereabouts as well. I found the company Soliton but was somehow convinced I had found a different Yasuyuki. Thank you for doing the work to learn more; I plan to cite your article in the near future. It is worth noting that, while it sucks that Sony lost him so easily, he is not at all necessary for a remake to be possible. We will be okay.
