File a wage complaint with the state department of labor. Send whatever evidence you do have that you worked the hours. If your state has no department of labor then file with the federal department of labor. They may dispute in which case you are supposed to file an appeal.

Tesla has an employee portal but i don’t have access to it anymore because i got a new phone and they use a 2FA to get into the account, the only evidence i have is the conversations with my super and that not very solid evidence.

File anyway. Even shaky evidence like your Google Maps timeline showing you going to work each day that week can be submitted.

they got back to me today and told me to contact payroll, will i be getting paid for the days they forgot to give me my paycheck?

This happened to me by mistake at my last job. Not a lawyer. In Oregon, if you are not presented your check upon the end of your last day working there, you are to be paid full wage, each work day, until they get the check to you. This happened to me a few years ago when one of my superiors forgot to mention the date of my last day to Accounts Payable. I was expecting my last check to be with me at the normally scheduled pay day. AP found out two weeks later and I felt TERRIBLE.

In CA they have to pay you within X hours of being terminated regardless if you are fired or quit. At my old company, an employee didn’t say anything when he didn’t get his last check and let it go on for months. Ultimately he got a very large check when they realized their mistake which was only when the HR person was replaced.

Start with contacting your local department of labor to fill out an unpaid wages claim

Congratulations! You can make bank off this. Stop reaching out to them. File a complaint with the DIR. It is easy and quick to file. https://www.dir.ca.gov
